Wii for $250???

Let him miss out if he wants...I have a feeling he will be buying a Wii no matter what the cost though. No true gamer would miss out on the Wii even if it only their "and" system.

Seriously man! Your horizons. Broaden them.

Nah, I'll pay $600 for the 60 gig

@Gw....I already said I'd be getting it in multiple threads. Seriously, look around. :lol

Poor poor Gw :shame

Look around more. I said I would get it at launch barring if it was $99-$150....Since it's not $99-$150...please let me know where in my last post I said I'd get it at launch.

You know, I do too. I really hope either a Mario, or Zelda game would be great at launch. Unfortunately, I don't even know if anything about Zelda was released at E3. :-\

Zelda was playing on 10 Wiis alone! Zelda is CONFIRMED for launch on Wii, with a release on GCN the same day.

$250.00 is not bad for a next generation, though like most other gamers I would still like it to be cheaper

if you compare it to the other next gens, it is almost half the price of the Xbox 360 and almost 1/3 of that of the PS3

at least the Wii isn't trying to compensate for anything (bad joke)

Looks like I'll be getting the Wii and the 360, PS3 too rich for my gamer blood

If Nintendo did release the system for somewhere under $200... even $190... I think they would crush the competition.

Literally every gamer would own one. Sony fans, Microsoft fans, gamers, non-gamers, everyone. It would be like a complete risk free investment. Even if you only enjoyed a couple games on it, or enjoyed it for one or two years, it would be completely worth it.

Even for all the retro gaming goodness (well, provided the price isn't too steep on those games either) it would be completely worth it. They could definitely match Sony's PS2 sales if they're aggressive enough to do something like this.
