I would rather have a fun game than a realistic one. I'm sure Strubes would agree.
I enjoy moving around a bit more than just pressing a button.

Then why do you own a 360?

BECAUSE if you still don't get it yet, the most important thing of a game is it's gameplay, motion controls are just a feature, just because a console doesn't have them does not mean that we hate it, sure i like motions but that doesn't mean i completely hate games that don't have them (heck brawl and fire emblem are some of my favorite wii games and they don't even have motions) get it in your head already ::)....and i might as well ask you why do you own a wii?? and why did you ask for okami for wii and not ps2 if you hate motions anyway?

Starwars =/= realism

It's more fun to swing around like you're actually using a light saber then to push and receive.

I meant realistic feeling controls.

And it's the Wii.... So it won't be 1:1, no matter what Nintendo says.

It's impossible to have 1:1 sword combat. Literally impossible.

ok then if you think they won't be realistic then it contradicts what you just said ::)

To be fair, no movement on the Wii has felt realistic to me, since it only takes, as you all have said, only an inch or two movement of the wrist.

well the realistic ones are most of the time present in minigames like warioware smooth moves and zak and wiki (though is not a minigame game xD), but for the most part movement is eaasy to do in other games and other have easy motions that feel realistic (no more heroes)

No more Heroes didn't feel realistic though. All you had to do was flick your wrist to swing.

I will agree with you on Zak and Wiki though. That one was probably the best use of the Wiimote for the Wii.

well not the way i did the finishers XD, but is the best way to use a lightsaber combat don't you agree? buttons and slashes. maybe they will put a more depth into it next time

zak and wiki isn't the only one though, there are more like metroid prime 3 corruption

Eh...MP3...not so much for me. But, to each their own.

It only takes that, but it sure isn't limited to it.

And you do realize you're the only person who's complaining about Prime 3 controls, right?

And you do realize this site makes up a very terribly small percentage of the online community, right?

and do you realize that this is not the only forum i'm in ::) go chek somewhere else.. people that didn't like metroid prime 3 at least give the game credit for having precise and inmersive controls

I'm a member of GameTrailers.com and the only people saying that are the Nintendo Defense Force.

Then again, I've never complained about the controls. I don't see where I have?

Whether one complained about the controls of MP3 or not or whever the popular online or offline appeal is, I think that wont resolve the first issue that appeared with button pressing vs motion controls which in itself still wont resolve the issue of what this thread was originally based on. Im so confused by the tangents that everyone has flowed off on, that now I am scared of this new star wars game as it has already met lots of dislike.

To resolve my own confusing, is this game Clone Wars, that is based off the movie, that will be releasing ONLY on the DS and Wii and will these two versions be identical?!

???

I'm...so confused. But anyways, the article states this game will be based off the animated series taking place after the animated movie. It might be good. It might be bad.
