It doesn't take too much effort to press a button, but if you're shaking your controller around for hours on end, it can get tiring/repetitive.

you are not very fir or what??? heck you are talking with someone that played most wii games for hours and the only one that truly got me tired with a arm sore was bleach shattered blades (very fast paced fighting game XD + 10 or so hours straight of playing = ouch), so i doubt this will EXTREMLY TIRING, besides as long as controls are solid the rest just depends on the gameplay, some games even controled by buttons can also give a "yawn" because you buttons smash, so repetitive might be pressent in any game not just motion ones.

Moving my wrist an inch to register a movement isn't a problem for me, I dunno about you.

Actually, we do know a few key details:

According to Star Wars fansite Rebel Scum, the manual for the upcoming Lego Indiana Jones game has an advertisement for a new Wii and DS title based on the upcoming Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series, which is set to kick off this fall after its big-screen debut in the late summer. The new cartoon series explores the period between Episodes II and III of the sci-fi saga, before Anakin makes idiotic fateful decisions leading him to the dark side.

I'm guessing you'll be playing this as Anakin. Just my guess though.

Not to you, but to me and many of my friends, it's quite annoying.

whatever is just a few inches nothing to break a muscle or anything, in fact is a bit more entertaining than pushing buttons, you might fall asleep by just pressing buttons but not if you are in constant movement

Well, the name tells us that it takes place during the Clone Wars, which occur almost completely between Episodes II and III, and the big characters will be in there, but the movie is supposedly going to take a much broader view of the conflict, telling the stories of many characters not talked about in Episodes II and III. This means it could focus on any of a great deal of numbers, not all of which are necessarily Jedi.

Also Strubes, if moving you wrist is oh so annoying, why were you such a fan of Rabbids? :/

Because it was one of the first games and was unique to me...then every game started using that.

The game's going to be based off of the Clone Wars cartoon which will premier after the movie.

oh so if i use that logic... it means that nowadays buttons are not "fun" becuase every game started using them.

read the first statment...that is all........

Nah, buttons aren't something that promised to be new and unique.

they were new and unique and so are the motions, they are unique for the console you know.

Zidart said:
well to be more especific, you can't emulate the motions of a lightsaber with a DS3.

Exactly. Though using the analog sticks sounds better to me. Actually, the PS3 uses motion-sensing in subtle, yet great. Like I could see using analog sticks for the lightsaber movements, then thrusting the DS3 forward for a force blast or something. That'd be cool.

even better??? using the analog for the wii and then using finishing slashed with the motions :D ...you know the nunchuck is an analog stick...

I could see it as blocking and that's about it.

Yeah, but one analog..just doesn't work for me.

Ah, there's another idea! Cept the force push would work alot better. I guess you could use both.

Zidart said:
yeah trusting with the DS3 is kinda annoying, i like it more for steering.

I guess if you thrust constantly, you're either playing the game wrong, or having a seizure.
