The DS a lost cause?

Contra 4!!!!

Sorry, I just love me some old school Contra and this is definitely a title worth getting. As for the DS being a lost cause? Only if you don't like the games on the system. But since it's pretty much the highest selling handheld ever, it's far from a lost cause. Even the PSP isn't a lost cause... yet.

Yeah, I know, but a lot of people I've seen say they own a PSP and want to get rid of it, or hate the games, but keep it.
And he doesn't. The PSP has actually had some good titles thrown its way. Its got no where near as many as the DS, but its not like there's absolutely nothing on there.

As for the DS, like I already said, its clear it will continue doing pretty well for itself.

I never said he had to hate it. :/ I said a lot of people don't like it.

Err....If the DS is in fact a lost cause why are they still coming out with a whole load of GOOD titles out there ?.... Well I guess its just your opinion though..

It would only be bad if it had turned based random battles. I mean, Sonic is about speed, right?

It won't be any good, Bioware or not.
This really will come as a shock, but I agree with you. I now hate Bioware's move beyond belief. It was idiotic for them to try to make a Sonic RPG. The characters and story have been so god awful in previous Sonic games, a great RPG just can't be salvaged from the series, even by my beloved Bioware. They should have headed for their own IP, and just let Square, or some other JRPG dev make it.

@Boom: There is no way Bioware would ever put in that battle system. They never have, and I hope to god they never will...

Yeah, I mean, what are the odds this ends up like the last game like this? Square's good old Final Fantasy. Crappy games being made, Square getting screwed, so they try one last game. And look at it. But Bioware isn't on the 'bad game' train.

Square made it. I said Square. Square had crappy games, pulled off something no one thought would happen(Final Fantasy). No one thinks Sonic RPG will be any good, and Bioware doesn't have crap games to live up to, so I was wondering outloud if it'd work.

Yeah, but what about like the FFIV style with the bar? It's sorta turn based, sorta not. It'd be nice, and Sonic's would go up very fast, but he'd be totally weak.

Yeah, ok, well a bar has to fill up before you can attack. I think certain characters go up faster, and higher levels make it go faster.
