Yes
Well you had to grind in order to beat Dullahan in Golden Sun The Lost Age, I think from their I learned that grinding is quite rewarding, especially in Disgaea.

I never fully maxed out the characters in Final Fantasy X, but I did make armor for them all with auto haste, auto shell, auto protect, and auto phoenix.
In some other games with RPG elements, I have also gone to lvl 99 with characters (Castlevania Symphony of the Night and Aria of Sorrow come to mind).
understandable, i only played the GBA version and i was highly disappointed by its extremely low difficulty (i know difficulty is not the most important thing in a videogame which still made the GBA version a great game) however i was completely satisfied with everything the DS version had. (plus i think playing the GBA version made the DS version harder since the DS version breaks all the strategies used in GBA bosses >_> is like square-enix decided to laugh at me when i tried the reflect trick on bahamut)Grindspine said:I'd have a hard time justifying buying FFIV for the DS since I already have both the SNES and GBA versions.
Blade said:I'd say both Mana Khemia games definitely. Though from what I've seen of Zid playing them, The Shin Megami Tensei Series is also a pretty good candidate for this topic.
