This just adds to my list of reasons for asking for a Wii for my birthday, especially considering it comes a couple weeks before it.

Yeah, same, I was gonna get a Wii last year for Zelda, but eended up with GCN version, so I'm getting a Wii just for this(until the other great games come out).

Well then lests not dwell on the past. Metroid Prime on the wii is going to be awsome. I played the demo at the fusion tour and the controls were awsome.

Yeah, there is a limit on how bad they can be. Certain ES games are unplayable due to bad graphics, you can't tell stuff apart and all that.

Even so, Metroid Prime is considered one of the top games for the Cube.
Persoanlly, I found the graphics to be pretty nice. What I think some of you found to be "bad" was actually how generic all the areas were:
Forest area (Tallon Overworld)
Ruined area (Chozo Ruins)
Ice Area (Phendara Drifts)
Fire area (Magmoor caves)
Underground area (Phazon Mines)
Yea, pretty generic.

The graphics shouldn't matter so much to anyone anyways. It had phenomenal gameplay, and was arguable the best overall game on the Gamecube.

I thought one was much more original than two. Two had forest turned desert, swamp turned bog(Agon Wastes with green), high tech building. And a generic rocky pace.
