Did anyone have the Super Scope?

I remember thinking it was cool, but I'm not sure why. I don't remember the games for it at all. But you know when I was shopping for games the other day I saw the game that came with the Super Scope. I thought about getting it, but they didn't actually have the Super Scope to go with it.

Did anyone else have the Super Scope? Does anyone still have it? What did/do you think of it?
 
I once got it for my birthday, along with the 4 in 1 (I think it was) game that came with it, and Yoshi's Safari (which was awesome). I enjoyed it a lot, but then I made the mistake of lending it to one of my friends, who lent it to one of his friends, who broke it :-\ And that was that...
 
I got one for my birthday when it first came out, it was fun for a few days but then the games that came with it got old quick. I still have it in my garage somewhere. Its still in great condition too.
 
I heard these things were very faulty (one of the few faulty things Nintendo has ever made).


I rented this thing enough to buy it a few times over :lol
I liked it.

If I am right... you could use it with the T2 game as well.
MEtal Combat and Battle Clash weren't too bad either.

yeah i had one it was fun with yoshi safari but my eye started to hurt after a while becuase i had to close it for long periods of time to look through the scope :-\

OMG! I had forgotton all about that game! Besides Contra and beat um up games, I think that was the first Co-Op game I ever played. It was an amazing game really, but you never hear about it anymore.

I also had super scope 6 which was rather fun as well.
 
-Hugs his BattleClash game- I beat this game in 10 minutes. Its even easier with the ROM, cause you use the mouse as the super scope.

I've had a ss6 since the thing came out and mine has had quite a bit of use and hasn't failed yet. Basically it's a novelty now, the games are extremely limited, I think there's less than a dozen, and the ones you've never heard about are not worth playing.... bazooka blitzkrieg for instance, was horrible. The two battle clash games were fun althought it takes a good 10 minutes to beat each one, the 6 in 1 cart was kinda cool but got boreing quickly, yoshi's safari was fine, but the rest of the games I played I got tired of before I could use a continue.

Hey guys, i'm new here, I was surfing the web to try and find any further info on the super scope or the games for it, and I found these forums. My name's Jonathan btw. Yeah, I have my super scope and still play it, I fell in love with Battle Clash ever since I first rented it a loooong time ago. Metal Combat is equally as good i think. Did you try playing BC on hard mode? Press L and Select at the same time and choose hard, you will be up for a good fight. And for metal combat, it's B+A+L+L at title screen. I wonder why they never tried to make any further games foe the series?

lol yea i had it and it was fun to play some of the mini games that used it
