Zelda

Ha, unfortunately, Zelda's stuck. Fans whine for something new, complain when new things show up.

*facepalm* Zelda will not be futuristic. Half of you are on something. Miyamoto made Zelda because it was his little fantasy during the periods where he would explore the woods(nature) around his house, not Tokyo City. Zelda is going to remain medieval, that's how it started, it's how it should be, it's how Miyamoto intended it.

Futuristic elements are just as fantastic as midevil elements

Not sure why a time-traveling hero should be stuck in the past, not that Hyrule represents the real past anyway. The reality of medieval times was dark and depressing. Besides, who says that a futuristic story has to take place in a busy metropolis and not some kind of natural world reborn. It's a pretty common theme of sci-fi, fantasy and RPGs. Wouldn't mind at all if the Master Sword went lightsaber and Navi became the new Cortana.

I think when I get another Wii, I'm gonna try and play through TP again. I might as well, right?

I really don't see a point. Playing a Zelda game that's not even the best one in the series is not going to make you like Zelda any more than you already don't. :lol

No, not really. MM, OoT, WW, and Zelda are all playable on the Wii, and are much better. TP is down low on the Zelda suckage chart, right by FSA and Zelda II.

I saw something on Cheat! that was giving hints for Zelda: Twilight Princess today, and I actually got *gasp* nostaslga for it.

Thats not nearly as important a question as why they need it NOW

It's an average game, compared to lots of games, it's good, but within the Zelda series, it's bad.

TP. Ugh. Too easy, too bland, too unoriginal, the dungeons were very linear, your hand was held the whole game, the 'moody' part of the game was just people wondering what was going on or not noticing at all, the wolf areas mostly sucked, you used the Small Keys in the same room you got them in, the ending was horribly anti-climatic and tacked on, they totally ruined Zant's potential, Midna was an annoying helper, you never used half the items after the dungeon you got them in, the bosses gave away their weaknesses, the game was less than half the length they made it out to be, everyone treated it as a godsend, and it was pretty much a shinier OoT. *catches breath*

oook i guess your opinion is really different than mine: i liked the wolf parts, the dungeons and the ending...though at the end zant looked like an idiot, midna had more character than navy, if you worried about getting every single thing in the game you would have noticed that you use all the items constantly (except the slingshot) and if you have gotten everything the game would take you the 100 hours (without a guide), the items were original (never before seen zelda beyblade XD) though i agree with that the game is too easy and that the bosses were too easy...but hey try it with few hearts and see.

i guess (like every game i like that everyone hates) this is one of those games that not everyone is gonna love, but those who love it will be satisfied by it (well i gues is only me)

The wolf never evolved his abilities at all, so it was pretty much the same thing in new areas, the dungeons were extremely linear, and had horrible bosses for the most part, Snowpeak Ruins has got to be the most godawful dungeon in the Zelda series, Midna had more character than Navi, but was a lot more annoying, you don't use the Iron Boots, Fishing Pole, Dominion Rod, Dual Clawshots(might be because that's in the last dungeon), Lantern, Bomblings, Spinner, Gale Boomerang, Slingshot, or Sol Powered Sword(could have used it for so much more). There's a few more, but those are out of my memory of the item ring. The items, yeah, a few were original, but those were the ones that never got used or were practical.

And they were saying 100 hours as in the main adventure.

Maybe if Hyrule Field really was 45 minutes long.

well again we have different opinions of the game and you didn't play as much as i did (because if you had then you wouldn't say that stuff of the items)

I have well over 80 hours logged, with all but three Poes, and a single Golden Bug.

i got every single treasure chest (even the rupee ones that are in secret caves) every golden bug and poe... so yes i know when i say that you use the items outside the temples.

As do I, but optional uses are not counted when you say you don't use a lot of things.
