Wii Music recieves a release date (For those who care)

Re: Miyamoto's next project: Wii Music

WIi Music is perhaps not belonging in the same sentence as cool. I would at most say it is another half based attempt to bring a gimmick to make tons of money.

Re: Miyamoto's next project: Wii Music

'Half based attempt' doesn't even make sense.

Re: Miyamoto's next project: Wii Music

It makes perfect cents, a half based attempt to make a cheap gimmicky game in time for some holiday season to capitlize on charging 39.99 for a game that will only provide 20 minutes of fun for the family and of course with horrifice graphics and interface.

this is miyamoto who we are talking about, even wii fit wasn't a half-based attempt and im 100% sure this won't be either, he always gives his all in his work

Have you played it? No.

Has anybody played it? No.

So because some people don't agree with your almighty opinion, they're all wrong for looking forward to it, or excuse me... even LIKING it?

Re: Miyamoto's next project: Wii Music

I wasnt saying that my opinion was almighty, but rather that it is going to come to fruition for it is most based on the clearest of facts.

Just because some guy is working on it wont command that the game is going to be all that and a bag of chips, I just think that 40 instruments is too big and because of so many we are probably only going to get a 10-14 track list of songs to play in the game, a horrible interface, limited multiplayer and avatar options, and silly looking on screen characters, no story mode, no advancement mode, no wifi, no nothing like that completely expected and gimmicky. And everything will probably be based on waggling the wii remote, predictable

Re: Miyamoto's next project: Wii Music

Nobody's forcing you to like it, but don't put down the people who do.

And Miyamoto isn't just "some guy." >.> He's one of the only reasons video games are where they are today.

Re: Miyamoto's next project: Wii Music

Im sorry but if someone is dead wrong then their idea must be stopped in the tracks, Im not trying to sound like a mean old grinch, but i cant let the guilt of seeing someone beliieve in false and incorrect idealogies thrive. The game is gonna not be awesome, im sorry

Re: Miyamoto's next project: Wii Music

I'm sorry I don't care to listen to arrogant people who don't know what they're talking about.

I'm looking forward to this game, as are a lot of other people. Don't play it. Please. I don't want you to find out you're wrong.

Re: Miyamoto's next project: Wii Music

Miyamoto is just another video game creator... that has reached his prime in creativity and is now trying to continue his legacy through these hallf cooked games that people say are fun but are really snorefest. To buy this just because he is working on it, doesnt do the game any justice.

Re: Miyamoto's next project: Wii Music

If you don't think it's fun THEN DON'T BUY IT. THERE. END OF DISCUSSION.

MY point is that you don't have a flying clue what the hell this game is going to be like. YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED IT. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S GOING TO BE LIKE. You're so infuriating how hard headed you are.

And saying Miyamoto is just another video game creator... lol...... I don't even think you have a clue who he is.

I cant wait to play this especially if it bolsters a music library of the best 350 songs of Nintendo games, arrangments, rearrangements, remixes, and vocals of the songs as well. This could very well be the best game that Nintendo could every finally make for the Wii. I can not wait any longer! This is what made me buy my Wii

The last time I purchase Mario Title or Nintendogs and such, I clearly didnt think that I was buying it because some part of its idea process was created by Miyamoto. Sure the guy may be well know and respected, but he isnt the almighty echelon of gaming goodness and such.

Just because you havent played something doesnt mean you cant have an well founded opinion on it. Based on what is seen and known, it is now fact that the game has a lot to do in order to impress consumers and try to get them to purchase it for what it is, in all its flaws and its innovations.

So, care to explain why you went from this opinion to "It's going to suck"? What information did you get that changed your mind? You watched a trailer? Read a review?

I call shenanigans.

Re: Miyamoto's next project: Wii Music

Well through a process of deductive reasoning, exploration through comments, and the basic knowledge of knowing that nintendo's past games never include robust libraries or music, it stands as a testament that my previous kill-joy filled statements of glee had to be negated to reflect the oppression that Nintendo has caused to my dreams of this game.

It doesn't matter where you pulled your reasoning from. You haven't played it, therefore, you can't judge it reasonably and expect anyone to follow your opinion here.

I give the guy props for trying to appeal to people who don't normally play video games. Hell, it's one of the reasons it hit off so much.

The problem is that Miyamoto thinks that he's not alienating hardcore gamers, when he really is. Nintendo hasn't pulled a popular new franchise in over 4 years (IE Pikmin) that traditional gamers want. Metroid Prime 3 was a hit and all, but he needs something new They claim that the system appeals to all. Well, with the games they're pulling out now, it's not. All they've done is throw out the lesser portion and bring in the bigger portion.

As I've already said, Audiosurf is already the best music game in existence. You can't top it.

See, that's the kind of reasoning I can go along with. I would totally love to see more traditional games from Nintendo. But, I think Wii Music could also be good; the thing is that we won't know until we play it. ^_^

Re: Miyamoto's next project: Wii Music

Considering that no one bought Metroid Prime : Corruption, no wonder it seems like they are moving away and focusing dead on their new aim. The so called alienated hard core gamers have brought this on themselves. Who are we kidding, I bet that people here do own at least Wii Fit, Wii Play, or even the other productivity and brain games from Nintendo, as well as knowing that you all are going to pick up Wii Music.
