According to Halo 3's who's online around the world thing said that almost all of japan was on halo 3Homicidal Cherry53 said:In Japan, the 360 is basically a non-factor. It has sold horrendously, capturing only a small portion of the Japanese market.

You mean the 5 people that have 360's there? :lolDeath_By_Pumpkins said:According to Halo 3's who's online around the world thing said that almost all of japan was on halo 3

I'd consider it a big win if Square-Enix put crap in a box and it sold millions.

'Cause one game just decided the whole thing, and since one PSP game has the number 1 spot right now, it must beat out New Super Mario Bros, Brain Age 2, and Diamond, along with every other DS game that's ever been on the top spot.Fr0dus Maximus said:Thats why Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core is the number one game in Japan huh?
I got RE4 with a little help from my dad. As in, "Hey, I'm getting an M rated game since it's $20 cheaper than all the other games." "Ok."Zidart said:ok this is my view in this topic,
first a little story. i was in wal-mart and a guy was going to buy gears of war, but her mother (by the way 17 years old) didn't let him buy the game because it was M rated, and at that moment the guy already had all the T good games that were in the store (by the way he is a friend of mine). then i just went to the wii games and bought metroid prime 3, and my friend said "dude you're so lucky to have a wii every good game on the 360 is M rated"
ok the point is, the wii has more T and E rated games (yeah call it kiddie console if you want i don't care) in other words parents would of course buy that console instead of the 360
and you have to remember that most of the gamers are teenagers (but yeah i got resident evil 4 with some help from my sister anyway) and some are not allowed to get M games, plus the wii is cheap and the parents love to see their sons/daughters dancing and moving instead of pressing buttons.
however being in second place is not that bad and consider yourself lucky the 360 has halo, it doesn't matter if it sells less than the wii someday the wii is gonna stop selling (yeah problably because almost all the world will own one) but as losing his poularity or touch i don't think so, the DS hasnt lost it yet and the wii is getting the balance board (forget wii fit), although i have to say that in some games the controls are gimmick (sonic and the secret rings) but in others the controls fit like a ring ( metroid, super monkey ball, resident evil).
so there you go that's my view, i'm prepared to be insulted by fanboys :lol
and the gamecube wasn't that bad just the third party was horrible but the first party games were worth anyway

Once again, all anyone can say is that the Wii's going to stop selling when everyone in the world owns one. Besides that being the goal of *most* video game companies, that really doesn't make sense, because considering 'most of the world' will own one, you really can't be trying to imply it could lose.
fhqwhgads said:I know, I'm just saying, everybody keeps going, "Yeah, the Wii's winning, but it'll stop selling as soon as everyone in the world has one."
Uh, duh?
Right, and when a system sells poorly, developers all say, "Hell, what a great system, let's make a ton of games for it even though we'll lose money on it!"Fr0dus Maximus said:What i was saying was pointing out that u cant cut out a consoles/handheld no matter how the hardware sales are doing. Its all about the software
