Why do people want to see Nintendo fail?

"lol im sorry english is not my first language"

Is there any truth to that or were you just making a funny? If there is some truth to it, that would be pretty cool, if not, then leave comedy to the professionals :D.

Spanish is my first language. I have lived in the US for about 2 years but even still some times when people say complicated things i dont understand at first

That's pretty cool, and completely understandable. Message boards might also be a good thing for you, as you can read what anyone says as many times as you need, which I'm even guilty of doing sometimes.

I am quite impressed by that one video of the revolution, if thats what it really is, and the price is reasonable, and it has an XBL like service it should rock. If not, Xbox 360 here I come.

I believe its been confirmed that the revolution video a fake.

Revival! DS is kicking PSP's ass, and Wii dominates the PS3, and almost the 360. What now?

Well, IMO, the Wii is a great companion console, but it doesn't offer enough to be a stand-alone console. I think if the Wii was the only system I owned I would probably not be satisfied. Not enough games, no online, limited genres, etc. So when people complain I understand where they are coming from.

And that is why I have other consoles. Problem solved.

It's not like it's that expensive. A Wii/PS2 combo is cheap and you have a variety of games to choose from that way. Slightly more expensive but even better is the Wii60 combo, my personal favorite. Wii for Nintendo games and 360 for shooters, and I'm set.

And why was it necessary to bring this topic back to life? All the posts are two years old and completely outdated...
To show how different approaches can be successful, and to not judge something to be poor due to being different.

Well whoever said that now probably feels real dumb. Nintendo has the most successful handheld market out of anybody. And Wii kicked PS3's.

I'm definitely agreeing with you there. The Wii doesn't really have enough variety, or enough games to be the only console you have. That's why I, personally will be getting the Wii as a secondary console to my 360 so so I get Zelda, Metroid, and Mario, but can still get shooters, and to some extent, RPG's from my 360.

DS gets RPG's quite nicely. Wii doesn't have variety 'cause it's still new.

Well that seems like a double standard because you constantly criticize the PS3 and it has the same number (okay maybe PS3 has a few games less) of quality titles as the Wii. The Wii probably won't get a ton of variety either because Nintendo isn't exactly famous for backing up their consoles with third-party support. Look at the Gamecube, then talk to me about how you think the Wii will do.

And I prefer none handheld RPG's because handheld ones are usually just stripped down ports, so I'll just stick with my 360 and PC for RPG's.

The developers have expressed much interest in Wii games, all parties. It's different, and that got them. That's the whole reason Wii got Soulcalibur, actually. I criticize the PS3, because I'm sick of the graphics first thing it's got going on.

That doesn't seem likely. It already has like 50 games being developed.
