Yeah that famitsu scan and sega seemed to confirm it is for PSP.

Regardless, I havent started the first one yet, they gotta wait for me!

The official TV Commercial from Japan is very short, yet very sweet, however I love the usage of the classic "SEGA" logo at the end.

Sega's producer Shuntaro Tanaka mentioned that the reason Valkyria Chronicles 2 comes to PSP was because it would take 3 years to make another PS3 game, and putting the game on PSP was a much faster solution, since Sega already has assets that can be used in the game and know how to improve the game. Tanaka hopes to see the franchise continue to expand on PSP and PS3.

And now you know why it's on PSP and not PS3 :)

Sega announced the PSP version of Valkyria Chronicles 2 will have linkup feature with Valkyria Chronicles for PS3, players can unlock Isara with the save data from the first game. Isara is the sister of the first game's heroine.

Sega will release the US version of Valkyria Chronicles 2 for PSP on August 31, 2010 in North America.

No not at all, have you? Been dying to see it. Yet, I think my buddy Zidart didn't care much for it since some of the female characters were, "enhanced" in some parts :lol

although that's true... i did like the style of the anime, it was just a bit slow but very interesting

Ah I think I will get this game, I think I would rather play VC on handheld than on the console.

I have Valkyrie Profile Lenneth on the way in the mail. Is it a part of this series? If so, and I like it, I will probably end up getting this as well.
