Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
During the past few years, we have our favorite or corniest lines to hear on Xbox Live. Yet voice chat is a blessing sometimes and other times, it's a CURSE. Yet I like to add a rebuttal these. Please post some of your own too!
1. My personal favorite: CHILDREN PLAYING VIOLENT VIDEO GAMES.
Rebuttal: If I'm in a session of GEARS OF WAR or LEFT 4 DEAD. I don't wanna hear a 7 year old child talk about SONIC THE HEDGEHOG while I'm playing. Also, one time, an argument erupted in the background noise between a child and his mother or father. That's always classic and makes you feel like it's time for YOU to grow up if you're playing video games with a 7 year old child that isn't even yours. Which is a sad and depressing form of a guilt trip.
2. Anti-Girl Syndrome
Rebuttal: Similar to Homophobia, a fear of woman strikes the hearts of many young teenage male boys. If I see a girl whoopin' butt in Soul Calibur 4, is she rewarded with kind words? Nope, instead it's a barrage of sexual puns and insults.
3. Bossy pants
Rebuttal: If you got a member in HALO 3 who barks orders at everything you do, but nobody listens to him. KICK HIM OUT or LEAVE HIS PARTY ASAP.
4. Getting TOO serious about the game.
Rebuttal: If you're trying to play Left 4 Dead on EXPERT MODE to get achievements, you could have gotten a ton more in ANOTHER GAME by the time you wasted arguing with the so-called NOT LEADER OF THE PARTY.
5. Homophobia
Rebuttal: Adam Sessler from G4 did this and I like to bring it back up. It's a favorite apparently and it STILL CONTINUES. This phrase is usually spat out by young male teenage boys. Which is more disturbing if you think about it. Yet I hate to see what happens if a real Gay or Lesbian was standing right behind them.
6. Using "NOOB" in every sentence to taunt you.
Rebuttal: Just like breaking wind, I think the same rule applies. "He/She who smelt it, dealt it"
7. Blaming Lag or Button controls
Rebuttal: Lag is horrid. Like today for example, Team Fortress 2 on 360 was unbearable to play. Yet blaming the buttons or controls? You are a noob.
8. Someone accusing you of being unfair or having no sportsmanship.
Rebuttal: Not my fault you suck, but call me a liar or a cheat, and you're a sore loser.
9. Screaming arguments about anything.
Rebuttal: We're all guilty of it, but sometimes there's a thin line between picking a decent argument and losing self-control.
10. "Anyone without a Mic, we're kicking out in 3 seconds. alright! YOU HAVE BEEN BOOTED FROM PARTY
Rebuttal: Does everyone have to talk? maybe I just wanna shoot stuff. Maybe that person can't afford a headset? Did you ever consider that?
