Wow, I can't help but laugh at the strictness. I never said a thing about Starfox Assault of Zelda: TP before in this thread.

Ahh, apologies... I honestly thought you were saying you had the games from the OP twice. :lol My bad. Not strictness, but rather a human mistake.

Okay, so no more derailing of this topic.

I played AC a lot... I was a big fan... then it kinda died off for me. Luigi's Mansion... I gave it a shot, but just didn't get into it. As for Metroid Prime, I just bought it recently but haven't touched it yet.

Well, you should really play it, it's freaking awesome. Prime is definitely a better game than Halo 2 and 3. 1 is debatable.

Samus > Master Chief

Anyway, yeah. You need to get around to playing those games.

And fhq, I thought TP was a good game. It entertained me and kept me busy.

Halo will never be touched by MP. Online multiplayer FTW.

On topic, I'm picking up Luigi's Mansion soon. It's probably my favorite stage in Brawl so I'm going to check out the game.

I'll take online over single player any day. It's better with friends. :)

I just couldn't get into that game. :-\

Re: Thanks stupid smash bros...I miss these GameCube games now..time to go hunti

i would take over single player over than on-line anytime (in this type of game) cuz my friends are not avaliable 24/7 therefore it's better to have something off-line to enjoy, and a deep experience as the ones in metroid are just what i need.

wich reminds me.... i never got to finish master quest at 100% hmmmm time to fullfill my destiny (once i get all the challenged in brawl)

Well good, you like single player better and I like coop/online better. There's our opinions.

I might try MP again, though I could never finish the first one.

And that's why so many single player campaigns suck. Halo 2, crappy campaign, I couldn't even play the second level without completely hating it. The online? Fun at first, but it gets old. It's kind of an all around crappy package then. Amazing single players(Uncharted, Assassin's Creed, Bioshock) beat out online any day.

How hilarious is this... I read this topic, then head over to GameFAQs to see this as the Poll of the Day:

Do you think developers are focusing on online multiplayer over the single player experience?
- Yes, and it's unfair to people who like playing alone
- Yes, but online gaming is the way of the future
- Maybe, I think there's still a good mix of the two
- No, single player gaming still rules the roost
- No, and it's hurting the online experience for all

Sadness, because the first and third choice are tied right now.

Why, might I ask, are you saddened by it? In truth, there is at least a good mix right now, what with games like Assassin's Creed, Bioshock, and the like.

Re: Thanks stupid smash bros...I miss these GameCube games now..time to go hunti

I agree with the first choice... Heck I didn't even play multiplayer games until about a year ago. I still try to tackle everything on my own in multiplayer games.

Both of which I didn't like, Assassin's Creed I thought was kind of a half assed job...

well I'm sadden that it's tied...you'd think people could make up their minds in a situation like that. Yet to be on the fair side, I would say it should be balanced. You can have your cake with ice cream.

However on the downside, many towns and cities in America still do not have high speed internet access. Which makes many gamers feel left out in the cold. That percentage is still high, from the last time I remembered. Yet for example, getting achievements in X360 games are virtually impossible, because many of them have to be ONLINE only.

Well, you're not going online, so it's not like your GamerScore is that big a deal then. And yeah, Kirby, I went there after posting and laughed a bit.

I have a metroid prime I am discounting out, if you are interested.

I think I have the Japanese version of Luigi's mansion too :lol

Luigi's mansion is still a fun game IMO. I haven't played it in a couple years, and I recently went back to it. Fun times...
Wave Race wasn't too bad going back to that. Metroid prime = fun.

That's your opinion I respect it. ;)

I just like online play better.
