Good lord man do you always have to be so insulting? Do you think we don't see how your backhanded compliment is really just an insult to Nintendo fans? Anyways, ToA for the PS2 is VERY rare and hard to find. So even if they do a straight port that is great!

Lol depends on how you take it. Like stated plenty of times before, I plan on owning a 3DS, just when actual new games come out for it and when the price drops. :)

Well, I think most of us would agree that single player rpgs allow more focus on the story. If they tried to branch out and make it a multilplayer game, I think it would lose out a little. Think of how making Bioshock 2 into a multiplayer game detracted from it. It wasn't as highly reviewed as the original Bioshock.

Personally I am fine with Tales games being single player and not having online if it means that the game will be better for having that focus.

and I guess being in the same room as the people you are teaming up with helps a lot more than being online. I mean I've played many tales games with friends and my boyfriend and the fun of it all is getting together and kicking some butt.

but gosh I wished I could play with EGA members

I mean I get what you are saying, but some games are made for online, and some shouldn't be. It's cool that you could play the other Tales games co-op, but basically it was just for the battle parts, wasn't it? I mean they didn't get to control characters any other time.

IMO that just seems kind of awkward for the other person. Some parts of the game, because it's an rpg, are about dialogue rather than battles. So they would just sit there while you're pressing the button and running around talking to people.

I guess I just think that there are other games available if multiplayer is what a person is looking for. EGA people played a lot of SSBB when it came out, for example. :) For an rpg, especially a Tales game, I don't want the story to suffer because they pulled half the team to work on multiplayer.

Famitsu's score leaked for the 3DS version of Tales.

News Article.

In summary, they gave it 31/40, compared to 36/40 for the original PS2 version.

The major complaints lowering the score was the lack of any major updates outside of the previously NA-only content and some issues reading the smaller fonts due to the 3DS's smaller screens. However, they did like the faster loading times and the ease of use with the touch screen commands.

I'm still looking to buy this version when it comes out over here. ^_^

Europe is so lucky to have this. I cant wait for it to come to the US.

Indeed it is, we never really get any thing first acutally we have to wait last most of the time XD Thought even thought it out in europe it is all most impossible to fine unless you want to pay £60+ for it, I was really really lucky and manage to get one when a company went back in stock -thought only for about 30mins XD-

Yay!! I'm so excited!! :D Tales of the Abyss 3D is one I've been looking forward to for what seems like forever!

I know!!! and only a month after we get tales of Graces F

So who all ended up getting this? I was really impressed by how well it holds up even after a few years. The battle system is a little dated compared to newer Tales games, but the story is still probably one of the best I've seen in a game. I can't recommend this game enough if you own a 3DS and want a good rpg.

This is one I will have to remember when I am looking for my next game. Which might be after the Holidays. A good RPG is something that I look for when it comes to owning a new system. And I am familar with the Tails games from the Game Cube.
