Is it just me or are the bosses kind of inconsistent in difficulty, though? I don't know how far you are so I'm going to post under a warning, since I'm about 28 hours in.
I had a hard time against Kurt, and then had no trouble beating Richard on the World's Eye. I also had a really hard time with that stupid boar on the mountain before you get to the Amarcian place. But Fourier's monster was no problem. I also couldn't beat Hubert near the well, and it took me three tries to beat Sophie when she asked to fight with me. It's so hard to tell whether I'm underleveled or if the bosses are just hard.
It sometimes depends heavily on your party composition and how much of their weaknesses you exploit, when I try to just Zerg rush a boss without taking advantage of their weaknesses I notice I have a pretty hard time, but as soon as I make it so that everyone in my party has an attack that can help me destroy their weaknesses the battles become manageable.
She is my second favorite I love both her and Hubert. I love how pascal controls she is such a unique character in both story and gameplay.
But Hubert takes the cake for me, he quickly became my favorite videogame character in gameplay (In personality Jade still takes the cake) I love his very flexible and powerful play style. In tales of Innocence I learned how amazing guns are in the tales franchise for long range combat, but when combined with dual blades kind of like Lloyd It created my perfect character. If I ever have any issues with a boss battle all I have to do is switch to Hubert and works those guns/blades to victory he is a blast to play with for me

No matter what title I equip Asbel with, at the end of the battle it switches to another one, seemingly at random. None of the other characters have a similar issue. I can set them with a title and it will stay on that title until I change it.

you have it set it up so it changes automatically after a certain level. (meaning if you have it set to title level 3 then his titles will automatically change once they reach level 3) but your other characters are set to manual change.

But I wonder how that happened, since I didn't have it set like that before and I didn't even know that it was possible to set something like that up. :lol I guess I'll have to figure out how to unset it.
On an unrelated note, Cheria is really amazing in battle. I wish I liked her personality more.

just press triangle in the title menu. The reason that was set like that is because the game puts asbel in auto at the very beginning and then asks you later on if you want auto for everyone or manual for everyone. You want auto for most characters simply because it allows them to automatically change their titles when they receive SP while they are outside of the party.....

DO NOT LET RICHARD HAVE A SINGLE COSTUME TITLE BEFORE HE LEAVES THE PARTY!! the reason I use caps is because my boss battles with Richard are almost impossible most of the time because he heals for about 10-15k every time he is at 25% health I usually have to just one shot him with super long combos at that point so that I can deal more damage than he can heal....this is because I wanted him to have the Judas costume for cutscenes since it fits his personality....BIG MISTAKE.

Yeah I fixed it today. Asbel and Hubert were both set to change after 3 so I set them back to manual. Now I'm just working through the titles in order. When I did New Game+ I opted for Triple SP so it's going pretty fast at this point. I have a party that's so strong at the moment that I hardly need a healer and Hubert's limited healing abilities are good enough.

I am pretty sure I didn't set any of his costumes. I don't like how the Judas one has a mask. I prefer the Zelos costume if I'm going to use another Tales character costume. :lol
I never been a fan of Zelos. In this case is mostly because I wouldn't be able to take Richard seriously as a villain if he looked like happy and pervy Zelos XD, but I have always loved the Judas mask and it does give Richard a more menacing vibe than his original costume. But there are plenty of costumes out there to fill everyone's taste =3
Right now I have all my characters set to change after 5 mostly because the selector picks the titles that are close to hitting the level 5 and I want a lot of the level 5 bonuses. But Usually I check new titles and see if I want their abilities, I prioritize getting new arts and CC over other bonuses.
BUT as the game states it is up to you how you want to prioritize things and there is no penalty for any way because you will always become stronger.
