Super Mario Galaxy discussion.

I like how its back to its Mario 64 roots... although i still think mario 64 is better
 
The Official Nintendo Magizine in the UK gave Twilight Princess a better score than this too. Just wanted to hype it up so people would buy Wii's I guess....or they're on crack.

Thats a bummer.

But.

I didnt wait for SMG for 2 1/2 years, so maybe the hype wont kill this one.

well i guess this proves 2 things

1. that nintendo power are not 100% biased (just about 70-99%)
2. that they have mental problems

seriously mario galaxy is 10 times more fun than TP
 
Well, different reviewers have different opinions. Though I'm questioning why it got a 9.5, because NP said 9.5 is a great game, no big flaws, but just not something new or cool enough in it to get a 10.


I'm pretty sure Mario in space, beating nostalgia, and looking that good counts.
 
man today i pwned my friend brandon it was classic

he only has a wii, wants a 360, and knows i dont have mario galaxy yet

he was like "Curtis, how many stars do you have in super mario gala.....oh wait hahaha"

and then i layed down some pwnage

"what 360 games do you ha.....oh waaaait hahaha"

thoug getting 120 stars is really hard
 
WHOA! GALAXY'S MADE A COMEBACK!!!

Galaxy's now tied with Ocarina of Time, for the #1 spot on Gamerankings. Both games have an average score of 97.6%. Maybe it'll manage to pull ahead.

And number 3, with Metroid Prime. 4 is Soul Calibur. But check out Alvin and the Chipmunks, that has a solid 17% average.

EDIT: With the new rounding, RE4 is number 3, and Prime is number 4. :/

and RE4 was a nintendo exclusive for like a year, and it got the amazing remake. so its clear that capcom loves nintendo when it comes to RE4

And it is the GCN version, so it does count as a Nintendo console game. Looks like Nintendo owns the Top 4 Games.

But it wasn't developed for Nintendo. It just came out on a Nintendo console. Idk if they can really take credit for that one (Metroid Prime might even be a stretch, considering it's second party).

EDIT: The correct order, by rank, would have Metroid Prime, Tekken 3, and Soul Calibur, tied for third.

Well, owning was a bad word. It's the one on their system. And Retro is apparently first party now, though now back then.
