Most brick-and-mortar stores are planning deep discounts to move leftover stock in these days following Christmas, especially since the poor economy has driven down overall holiday revenue. Not to be outdone, Valve is offering a Steam holiday sale for those of you who prefer digital distribution. The sale, which ends January 2, promises between 10% and a whopping 75% off everything in the store. Some of the bigger deals include BioShock and Portal for $4.99 each, Peggle and Team Fortress 2 for $9.99, and some older titles like Half-Life: Opposing Force for 99 cents. There are other, smaller discounts on recent games like Call of Duty: World at War ($44.99), Left 4 Dead ($37.49), and Fallout 3 ($39.99).

yeah but not that many people probably wanna buy a game like peggle so then if they drop the price they might buy it

and bioshock is a good game so they think that it will make people just striaght go for it for 5 bucks
 
Oh man, this is why I absolutely love Valve. Ultimate Doom and Doom II for $1 each, BioShock for $5, Valve Complete Pack for $75. I think I'm gonna spend every cent I've gotten for Christmas today. So far, I'm picking up BioShock, Gun, Civ III: Complete, Ultimate Doom, Doom II, and it's only $30 so far. I'm probably gonna pick up the Valve Complete Pack and the Unreal Pack too. These deals are unbelievable. :D

Good choices! I never did play Indigo Prophecy, but I heard it's a pretty unique and cool game.

I wouldn't know. It, along with half of the other games are still downloading. Half-Life 2 Episode 1 just dipped below a kilobyte per second. XD

BUY IT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. Indigo Prophecy is one hell of a game. I got it on Xbox Originals for my 360 and there is no other game like it! If you love CSi, X-Files, and other cool murder mysteries. PLEASE BUY THIS GAME!

Already bought. :D

It's taking FOREVER to install though, so I'm playing GUN right now instead. It's a really good game. I'm surprised critics didn't really like it. Sure, the controls aren't great, but it really sucks you in. I'm surprised there aren't more western games out there, considering how much potential this one has.
