I personally think that they should do some surveys about their games. Include the survey in 1st party games or something.
 
I'm talking game development risks, not stupid periphial risks. I do not want to see them make a TV remote replace the controller. I want to see something unique that they don't suck dry.

I was talking game development risks too...although they seem to take risks on everything these days.
 
I think rebates would work. If the consoles are going to be expensive, then maybe the Big N could offer rebates on their consoles.
When manufacturers offer rebates on the stuff that I sell at work, then sales typically spike.

I dont know how well that would work. I dont know much about tire retail, but normally rebates dont work, from what I remember. Actually I think they already did that. The even gave free games. What Nintendo needs is a strong "exclusive" title.
 
Well, with tires, rebates are a very good idea. And roughly 90%+ submit their rebates. I figured that the vast majority of people who buy consoles are over the age of 18 would most likely send off a rebate form. Even if it's $50 or so, it is still a great selling point provided that the retail store that's selling the items are aggressive in promoting them.

How about a not so bad way of saying it. If you have gripes about the controller post it up in the other topic that we have. It's a good debate and also watch your words please.
 
I have a suggestion for Nintendo...Make a Mario Kart game for the revolution with an attachable shell in the shape of a kart!You could steer your kart...literally!with a separate connection like the nunchuk for acceleration and item usage.
