Square-Enix 1st XBLA game, will be ready tomorrow (March 11th)

Square Enix will release the defensive strategy game Crystal Defenders for XBLA on March 11, 2009, for 1000 Microsoft points. The game will have 3 different modes (W1, W2 and W3), and over 300 stages

I played the demo today, I was very surprised that the price of this is 800 points. Not 1000.

It was developed by the same crew responsible for FF Tactics Advance (GBA and DS).

Many of the beloved Ivalice characters return as well as many familiar Final Fantasy enemies.

You have Soldiers, Bunny Archers, Moogle Mages (KUPO!), Monks, Time Mages, Theifs as well.

The object of the game, is to make sure the enemy does NOT make it to steal your crystals!

After or during each wave of enemies, you can use your gold to buy more characters or level them up before or during each wave.

Very cool little time killer game, but has that Square-Enix essence we all adore. Definitely worth a look or if you already know about the cellphone game of the same name, then be my guest
