Sorry. I had to. One last contraversial thread on Nintendo's Revolution !! LOL

Yeah it does a seem a tiny bit pathetic. Honestly, they are the last people I would rely on for excitement. They seem a little too biased towards Nintendo, well from what I remember. I havent had G4/TechTV since the beginning of the year.

I always thought they were really objective. If you were talking about Tommy Tallarico then maybe you'd have something there...

But even he said one time after being criticised about being biased "Hey, I grew up on Nintendo classics just like everyone else did. I still play and love those games. I just don't happen to give a lot of high scores for Gamecube games because I don't think many of them deserve one."

I still haven't really seen any killer games for the DS, although I'll admit I don't follow the system that closely. That being said, I don't follow Sony or PC games that closely either but I know of plenty of killer games on each that I want to play...

You're all going to hate me for saying this... :lol

I've only played 2 Castlevania games my whole life, one for the original NES (I think it was Castlevania, it was a long time ago) and one I bought for my GBA. Other than that I've never had any interest in the series, although I do think the main character using a whip as a weapon is a very cool idea.

I've never liked any Sonic games, and I owned a Sega Genesis. I even persisted in buying the Core System which didn't come with a free copy of Sonic but was the same price as the one that did. Even though my parents tried to secretly tell the clerk "We'll take the other one." I made sure I got the Core system. I do not regret that choice in the least.

The only Mario Kart game I've ever liked was Mario Kart 64. I don't like the Snes, GBA, or GC versions, and I highly doubt I'd like the DS version.

I also haven't played any of the games you mentioned above because I don't own a DS and have only one friend that does. The reason I don't own a DS is because I really haven't seen any games on it that make me want to buy it. Especially if those three games are the main reason to own one, well, I can see my choice was justified because I have no perticular interest in any of them.

:lol

Well currently I'm quite enthralled in Conker:Live and Reloaded, NHL 2K5, and GTA III all for Xbox (not the same on other systems, though multiplayer in Conker was better on the 64 IMO, they should have just put that on Xbox Live...). I also have Crimson Skies for Xbox which I've recently stopped playing cuz I've played it a lot lately so I needed to mix it up a bit.

If you want to know the type of games I really enjoy I'll just list a couple personal favorites:

Zelda: OOT (of course)
Crimson Skies (duh)
Counterstrike Source (a given)
Rogue Squadron series (with the exception of the latest one)
SSB:M
WinBack: Covert operations
NHL 97 and NHL 2K5 (but not the games in between)
Advance Wars (for the GBA)
Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2

As well as several others I can't think of at the moment. Now some popular games I absolutely despise:

Metal Gear (all of them)
Final Fantasy (all of them)
Metroid (all of them)
Every Rareware game except Conker and Perfect Dark
Zelda: WW and A Link to the Past

And many, many, others.

Basically I like games that drop my jaw. Games that literally make me say "Wow." Even if it only happens once the entire game, it was worth it for that alone. Some games like Metal Gear I just don't understand. I find that when I take control of a "spy" in a game I have great difficulty adhering to the rules in the game. I constantly want to do other things in the given situations that you can't do in the game. If the game isn't expansive enough to let me go about things my own way, I don't like it.

Any game that blows me away and/or feels completely intuitive and logical (OOT, Advance Wars, Rogue Leader, etc.) is a game that I can honestly say is good.

What's the point of adding a link when it's misinformed? That person doesnt know what he is talking about. If you're a PS3 fan then fine, that's cool. But dont blindly bash a system unless you have facts.
