Lurker
My Rock Band Guitar is dead. It won't play righty, and if you hit every note, it fails you. Also, it randomly kills the score multiplier. It seems that it strums twice in a row every time you strum, because it cuts off the guitar part after every note.

The thing feels like a piece of crap anyways. I can't stand how it feels like I'm gonna snap the neck off whenever I pick it up...

As sometimes happens when new products first go into manufacturing, we discovered an imperfection with the strum bar in an early production run of guitars that were shipped at launch. We've since identified and fixed the issue in all subsequent production runs of the guitars. If users are experiencing a problem with their guitars or any of the Rock Band instruments, they can visit the customer support website ( http://support.ea.com/rockband) and we will send a replacement immediately. Harmonix is dedicated to creating 100% customer satisfaction and to the users who have encountered any hardware issues, we are sorry for the hassle.

Welcome to the Rock Band Warranty page!

Dude that sucks and good to know too. Since I was planning on picking up Rock Band.

I guess I'm one of the few who actually enjoys the feel of the guitar. Much more fluid and natural than any of the GH guitars.

I like it. It feels more like a real guitar with the strumming. GH guitars are just more reliable.

It is a great game, but the hardware is very unreliable. I actually normally use the Guitar Hero guitar anyway...but since I had the RB guitar replaced I haven't had a problem with the strumming...BUT the Overdrive sensor is not acting right.

that too but u can choose ANY EA title. From Skate to Command and Conquer 3 they actually have a good selection from this year.

no, you definitely dont get a free EA game. that was offered as an apology for those who had extra long replacement times due to the holiday season.

@fhq, i think i noticed some problems with mine recognizing down strumming, as well

Yeah, I already did the warranty thing before I even made this thread. Now I get to wait.

My guitar took a little over a week, my bass pedal came in 3-4 days.

And I believe it is a 90-day warranty....but I'm not entirely sure how they tell. It should be forever since its crap.
