now that looks SWEET!

Um... how accurate is that site?
And... with the unit being that small... will it be a powerhouse?

BV :hat

yet again nintendo has come through being the tinest and this time around the least powerful. and we aint even seen the contoller. well i dont know .. i was expecting a little more from pre e3 .. but maybe on down the line they will grab me by my troat or something.

its tiny but i might consider buying this system because i heard that this nintendo is goin to online there's only one thing stopping me from making my decision now im waiting to ps3 if that no good im then it between the revolution and xbox 360

IMO.... it seems that Nintendo has all the ducks in a row now.

I really feel that this is the system to catch up with....
They did a good job gaining with the Gamecube... now its time to pick up and keep going :)

More Revolution pics?

well... I think there are only 2 extra that wasn't in Kuman's post:

But what I don't get... is this it.... or are they concept sketches? They really don't look real.... or they look photoshopped.

Re: More Revolution pics?

I would agree BV, they look photoshopped. It may be like those screenshots.

I was looking at the new Madden and the screenshots werent actual game shots. So maybe its like that for this.

Re: More Revolution pics?

I'm thinking concept sketches, as I doubt the Revolution will have a blue light insided its disk drive. Alos, I may be wrong, but the reset button looks a little crooked.

Re: More Revolution pics?

well.. I was reading about Iwata showing the prototype... it was black with a blue, front loading disc drive.
:D
don't know if that means its lit up or not.

Re: More Revolution pics?

I saw some more of those pictures and saw that the lights were actually just outside the disk drive (on the edge). When I first saw the pictures, I thought the lights were on the inside.

Anyway, it does look pretty sleek none the less. One thing still bothers me though: Is Nintendo going to continue using "mini-discs" or are they going to use larger ones?

Nothing wrong with being tiny. I have a tiny desk, so when I had an Xbox, I could just barely fit it on there.

As for least powerful, we don't know that yet.

The Revolution looks great, and it's good that they've gone back to a black system. I'm not too fussy, but a lot of people are.

i didn't say tiny was bad matter of fact i think it being tiny is a good thing because if ever want to take it with you somewhere then it is more compact and fits easier not only that my wall unit is cluttered because i have ps2 and other systems on it and they are big and take up more space my point is that if they do keep it tiny like that it is for they best in space.

I dont think this is real because you cant play the GC games on a slot loading machine. You need to physically place those games on the drive. This rendering does look really nice though.

No, I'm 100% positive I read an IGN article where they specifically said that you could either put a GC optical disc or a Revolution standard DVD disc and it would read both.

I know that the new Nintendo system will play both. My question was is this the actual system that is being shown. I havent had time to keep up with E3 so if somebody can tell me if this is the real thing, that would be nice. Because from the look of these pics, it would be impossible to load a GC disc with a regular sized slot drive. For example if you ever go buy any of those small CD-R's it says that they can not be put in slot loading drives because they are too small to line up with the laser.

im a bit lost because if a gc disk can fit into my drive then a small cr-w will to

What I mean is that they wont be able to fit in these kind of drives:

javascript:popupWindow('http://www.logicsupply.com/popup_image.php/pID/309')

Which is the kind of drive that the pic has. But they will fit in regular cd drives.
