Resident Evil: Mercenaries

Resident Evil: Revelations isn't the only BioHazard game on the way for Nintendo's latest handheld; it's been revealed at a press conference earlier today that Resident Evil: Mercenaries will also be released for the system.

It's not a new game, though; rather, it takes the popular "bonus" game modes (and maps) from Resident Evils 4 & 5, combines them and gives them their own standalone title. Only now, everything will be in 3D.

It'll also feature online multiplayer. No details on price or availability were revealed.

Screenshots are sick..yet why reusing RE5's similar graphic engine?? Gees, this makes the Wii version possible?

Yeah, but we somehow got Dead Rising on Wii that we never asked (AND SHALL NEVER SPEAK OF AGAIN)

They're reusing it because they're taking bits out of RE4 and 5!
 
Well obviously, but I mean why? I feel like I'm buying just the mini-game as a piss poor excuse like "Super Mario Advance" had the Mario Bros Arcade repackaged with it 4 times...and it sold....just to squeeze out the multiplayer marketing scheme the...GBA...had...and OMG THEY DID IT AGAIN!!

Is anyone here who has a 3DS planning on getting this game? I'm kind of interested but I want to know if anyone else thinks it will be a good game.
 
If you have RE5, try out the Mercenaries mode. That's all it is. I love RE but I'm personally not going to get it. I'd rather wait for RE:Revelations.
 
The 3DS Mercenaries doesn't have VS mode, which I guess was pretty cool in RE5. I also was reading that Mercenaries doesn't have a campaign, which I guess makes sense. :lol

I think I will probably just wait for Revelations.
