I recently broke the top screen of my DS Phat, so Ive already experienced DS before. I have enough money for one or the other. Since I've recentely become a Metal Gear and GTA fan, I wuz thinkin of getting a PSP... Should I?

Personally, if I busted my DS, I'd buy a new DS. But the PSP is gaining in the game department. So it's a tough one. Just remember, if you broke your DS, be extra careful on the PSP. Because with a constantly exposed screen, it may be even more ginger than the DS was.

Okay, dont need a PSP anymore, cuz I got a free PS2 and since the PSP GTA's are coming out for PS2 im set.

In my opinion, it's just depends on whether you want to play crappy games (PSP), or innovative, and entertaining games (DS).

^ well, there are SOME fun games for PSP, and all of the "Fun, innovative" games for DS get really old for me (Besides Elite Beat Agents.)

Yes the screen is nice, but the PSP lacks quality games. The DS on the other hand has 2 (smaller) screens which as we know adds a lot to gameplay, and the DS has a Lot of great DS games, plus the whole GBA library behind it. I think that the PSP 2 will compete a lot better with Nintendo next system, but I believe IMO that Nintendo will always be the handheld KING. :)

I was just saying that the DS cannot compete with the PSP LCD. Also, the games depend on what you like. The PSP and DS both offer different games, that are for different people.

u shouldnt get a psp because u allready have a bunch of ds games. (thats the answer to person above me.)

i have a ds. i think its really fun. the graphics on the psp rock. but the only games for psp r like war an sports an i dont like that so i hace a ds because it has wifi an fun games :]

But, I do agree, if you have all the games for the DS; why switch?  Unless you sell them on the bay and get a few PSP Games!

I quickly sold my DS due to the quality of the "top" titles on it. Many felt like minigames or just aimed at a young audience. My mistake was buying it due to what was selling. DS may be the top selling hand held system, but that does not mean I like the games. PSP has more of the games I like. Here is a sampling of some PSP games off the top of my head that I like:

• Gradius Collection              • Ghouls And Ghosts
• Metal Gear Series               • Parodius Series
• Sega Collection                 • Final Fantasy (Soon to arrive)
• Killzone: Liberation            • Crush (Soon to arrive)
• Valkyrie Profile                  • Wipeout
• Mega Man                         • Twisted Metal

That list alone is enough to keep me busy for at least one year. The other fun thing is that you can watch movies on it as well as listen to MP3s. RSS news + web browsing is just icing on the cake.

Now don't get me wrong, there are DS games I like. My favorite DS games are:
• Castlevania series
• Mario Kart
• New SMB
• Tetris DS
• Kirby
