I voted Mass Effect three because it's close to coming out and it's already being widely regarded as one of the best RPG's out there. But, I'm getting Assassin's Creed tomorrow.

Since I can get 4 out of 5 of these on PC or PS3 I say the only other choice... Mass Effect

It's actually been planned as the first chapter in a series, for quite some time.

Really? Jeez. Why have I never heard any mention of it? Still, Mass Effect will probably have better sequels. I mean, carrying over your decisions...awesome.

There really hasn't been much mention of it, but I distinctly remember Ubisoft saying this would be a franchise in one of the older gameplay demos.

Maybe, but I wouldn't be surprised if we have an Assassin's Creed 2, if 1 does well. Plus, I hear the ending of 1 basically sets up for a sequel.

Mass Effect.

Watching preview gameplay videos and stuff I thought Assassin's Creed looked kinda boring but friends that have it already say that it's pretty good, so I may rent that one soon.

Mass Effect although Im turned off with the real-time combat... o well i'll still love it to death. I hope Wal Mart will have it when i go home

Yeah, I kind of am too. I would have been fine with them keeping with the D20, AD&D system they used in all of their earlier games. The combat still looks pretty fun though.

No, they plan to novelise the game into a trilogy of books.
