Oh my God-New Zelda with photo-realistic graphics!!!

i loved all zelda games but to pick the one that i've enjoyed the least i'd have to say windwaker, mostly for the length, GFX(i might be flamed but i prefer "photo-realistic"....hey it didnt stop me from buying or enjoying it), and collecting the shards.....i REALLY REALLY hated that part, other than that i think windwaker was one of the best games for the GC but the worst of teh zelda titles(not including GBA)

The collecting of the shards was annoying, but overall it was just as good if not better than Majora's Mask, IMO. The combat was great, 2nd best of the Zelda's to OoT if you ask me. I love the hurricane spin move.....what fun it was. What was wrong with the length?

The length was fine, it's how they used it that bothers me. Way too much sailing around for me. Even collecting those stupid shards took up too much time. But the biggest flaw about Wind Waker, if any, was the bosses.

The bosses in the Zelda games haven't been that good since Ocarina of Time. OoT had the best bosses. MM and WW's bosses were pretty boring in comparison.

The thing about WW that bothers me is that it feels more like a collect-a-thon than past Zeldas. I still haven't beat WW because I'm sailing around trying to collect the rest of the heart pieces so that I can go after Ganon without being short on life.

The bosses were ok, but they weren't the same quality as the ones in LttP and OoT, I agree. I hope the new Zelda has great boss battles like the older games.

I thought Majora's Mask had good bosses because you could fight them in different forms, it gave you new ways to fight. That 2nd Boss, the Bull thing (where you had to roll around with Goron Link) was very cool.

In WW, I only found Ganon to be a challenge. Although the first boss was probably tougher then any of the other bosses up to Ganon. It was pretty messed up. Especially that boss in the Temple of Gods, it was a nice idea but I honestly beat that thing in under a minute.

I need to replay WW, I can only remember a few of the boss battles, those being the first one, Ganon, and puppet Ganon. Oh, and the giant ghost thing, but he was pathetic.

Which one was the boss in the Temple of the Gods?

He was like these 2 hand things that you had to keep shooting with the light arrow? You know what? I can't remember...but I do remember how quickly I beat him. I mean with a name like "Temple of the Gods" I was expecting a really intimidating boss. Remember the first boss in OOT? Sure it was easy, but I remember when I first played it, and you have to look up at the ceiling in that dark room and it looks at you. I remember my palms were sweating bad. WW had nothing like that :(

The boss you described sounds like something from OoT also, named Bongo Bongo or something....

I just remember in OoT, I could easily go through the castle thing, beat Ganon and Ganondorf without getting hit once, and that would be that. Now, I don't think I could beat the first anything, it's been years since I've played.

They probably felt like they had to rush Wind Waker and get it out there. I'm glad that they are taking more time with the realistic one. It already looked fantastic in the trailers, so imagine how much more they can do with it from now until it comes out in fall or winter 2005. :o

Holy junk, thats a lot of development time. It'd better be good.....or someone will pay........with money...... ::D
