You can just import it online, you don't need eBay. Not anymore, though, Japan had barely any copies as is. Not to mention there's copies for testers and stuff, along with the demos in Gamestops.
demos in gamestop?

Yeah, they have a demo of it in Gamestops and stuff. I'm pretty sure it's the first Whobby demo.

Same. Oh, and to help, the full soundtrack. A whole gig of music and 15.8 hours.

Does it matter if they were in their Basements or in their rooms for Valentines day? No. Its a day of the year and a dumb one at that. For myself I was with someone while playing CoD4 online all day. Does that make me lonely?

tad bitter dude?

Actually, yeah, he's probably stronger than in Smash Bros. 64. He's heavier than Fox now.

IGN: Smash Bros. is a very competitive series, but you have avoided detailed online stat tracking and leader board ranking systems for Brawl. Why is that?

Masahiro Sakurai: Well, I'm sure that people hitting ranks one through 10, were there such a ranking system, would be incredibly pleased with it and having a lot of fun. But, you know, it's not fun for everybody involved per se if such a system were to exist. I was asked this time around to try and get Wi-Fi into the game and so certainly we've managed to get wireless battles so you can play with people in other places. But it's really a game in my mind that has been designed to be played with a smaller group of people -- be that a group of friends or within your house a group of family members -- competing in the small circles and not really worrying about winning and losing so much as the process that gets you there. That is where the fun should hopefully be for a lot of people. It can also be kind of trying and painful for some people who want to be at the top and think that they're really good at Smash and they look at their online ranking and they're the one-hundred-thousandth best Smash Bros. player -- those are some of the reasons I've decided not to go with leader boards.

I like his reasoning for not having leaderboards. IMO it drags down a game when people are more concerned with winning than they are with having fun.

I fully, 100% agree with Sakurai. I've witnessed and experienced multiplayer games with leaderboards, and it destroys the community. There are those who don't care about the leaderboard, but those that do commit solely to winning in everything they do (i.e. ALWAYS competitive, which is really annoying if you've never had a friend that did this)... then there's those that are already on the leaderboards, who, in between spamming quick matches with their friends to maintain their rank, continue to rub in their ego on community boards as often as possible. It's very annoying... and I'm so glad this game doesn't have one.

but i wonder if what the best melee player said it was true??? i mean that because charaters float more the gameplay is so slow that it's imposible to enjoy.....then again the same thing happened from 64 to melee

You talking about M2King? He's biased... for now, don't read much into SSBM professionals' reviews. They compare it to Melee, and that's not right. This game is a completely different game from Melee; it's an independent Smash title. I'm sick and tired of people rating it as if it were Melee 1.5, to be honest... :/

This game will be great, Zidart. I promise ya. :)

yeah that's what sakurai said in the IGN interview... he wanted to make a different game not just an "update". and well it was funny how a guy said "brawl is more of a party game than a fighting game"..i think it's funny because in my opinion super smash is a hybrid of both XD.

and also i had the same kind of fear going into melee, because the change of the physics system but well it turned out alright, XD so i guess i have to ignore those "anti-brawl" comments

Why isn't it? It's an evolution of Melee. You compare them so that you can see what has changed. Just like any new game in any other series will be compared to it's predecessors.

Will it be great? I think so. I've played it for a few hours and had just as much fun as Melee.

But still how is this game completely different from Melee? Maybe you know something I don't.

well i don't know about what kirbyrockz thinks about it, but in my opinion brawl shouldn't be judge as a bad game just becuase it has changed from melee, i mean what are the usual negative statements from some people? one the lack of wavedash is one, second characters being floating more and third the change the lack of characters that were on melee but are not here. i understand is their opinion of the game but they are being biased by the fact that this game is not melee 1.5, and just as they got used to the change from 64 to melee they should try to look at brawl as a completely new game and not just a sequel, because that's exactly what sakurai was thinking when he developed the game
