There is one other character that has no proof yet is essentially confirmed due to the 35 theory: Wolf. And we all know Jiggly's confirmed. So that makes 35 characters.

I personally think the 35 character roster is awesome. I can't wait to play every single character.
 
Most of the characters that I like are unlockables. This should be exciting, seeing what I have to do to unlock them. Hopefully it won't be like Melee; It's sad, but I still haven't unlocked all of the characters in Melee, even after all these years. :lol

Are you joking? Cel-shaded Link is one of three Links to star in two games, not to mention he has quite a different roster of items.
 
Wind Waker Link could use the Deku Leaf(up special), Skull Hammer(aerial side), a seeker Boomerang(side special), Bombchus(down special), his forward Smash could be his leaping slash. Stuff like that.

Maybe they just meant clones in the starting line-up of characters, and not necessarily unlockable ones.
 
Hmm. Toon Link looks better than normal Link. And is the Wind Waker a move or a taunt?
