You know, that's true. XD! I hate killing a Jackal on Sierra 117 expecting to take his beam rifle because he kept sniping me, only to find out it's a carbine. They really pumped it up.
 
The 8th terminal is on Cortana. Technically it is the 7th you would find if playing the game from start to finish, but it is called the 8th because it does't count as one of the seven for marathon man.
 
Oh, ok. Where is it at in that level?

Mostly on topic, but I was watching my campaign in the Theater lobby and when I got to the part where I accessed the Terminals, I couldn't fast forward or take pictures, and some of them actually said different things than when I played it! It was interesting.
 
Difficulty level affects the text.

And it is in the room where you find the Tilt Skull, down underneath the platform. There is a gravity hammer next to it.
 
God I hate mentally retarded people...

I swear every time I go into Team Slayer by myself I have bad luck... Today I went in there, played 2 games, and went from a 27 to 25.... :( The first game I got stuck with two stupid quitters and the other guy wasn't even playing so it was a 1 on 4 match... The other one was shotty snipers on narrows and I got a quitter there and one idiot was pissed that it didn't get vetoed so he was continuously jumping off the edge. I need someone to get on to help me get my rank back...
 
If I'm on when you're on I'll help you out. I'm up to 11 in Team Slayer right now.

I hate quitters, but the thing that sucks is you can't tell if they quit because they are quitters or if they just lagged out.
 
You can generallly look at their experience and number of games and figure it out there. I always do that before I leave feedback on them. Thanks though. :)

That happened to me once in SWAT. I was like *OK!!! YOU WANT ME BITCHES!!!??? COME GET ME!!! i AINT AFRAID!!!! YOULL NEED AN ARMY TO FING TAKE ME!!!

Yeah SWAT was always fun in Halo 2. I haven't really seen it get too popular in 3 yet though... Maybe all my friends just aren't into it though.
 
IWBYD skull questions

Ok I know we already have Halo topics and we also already have a skull topic, but I have a very specific question and I don't want it to get lost right away.

So anyway, this is for anyone who's already gotten the IWBYD skull.

Do you have to be on Legendary and/or already have the 9 gold skulls to get IWBYD to trigger?

Because I was playing today on someone else's profile (to help them out) and I was playing it on Normal and I did the 4654534 sequence and nothing happened.

Now when I did it on my profile, I was playing on Legendary and already had the 9 gold skulls. I was playing co-op and my friend, who had all the gold skulls except Catch, was also able to get IWBYD.

I've tried looking up the FAQ but they don't say anything about any other possible triggers.

I'd really like to help my friend out and get that skull. What am I missing? Did I do the sequence incorrectly?

Ok that's what I was thinking, but I wanted to confirm. Now I will move this. XD!

Although I do have one more question.

According to one FAQ, the rings are numbered 1-7, with one being closer to the elevator and 7 being the one close to Truth. However, I've seen other FAQs that state that the ring closest to Truth is 1, and the ring closest to the elevator is 7. Will it work either way?

What is your best weapon according to your stats?

Mine is grenades. :D #2 (Plasmas), #4 (Frags), and #6 (Spikes) on my list of Tools of Destruction, and if you add them up the sum is more than what I have for melee (which is the #1).
 
I believe my “best” weapon is eather melee or AR. Dont really think those count though cause you start out with it in most every game or is an extremely unbalanced feature (among most others in this game) that they completely screwed up with this game. As of now, I'm done with Halo 3, I'm going back to 2. Play with y'all some other time.
 
I haven't played 2 online in a long time. If I see you I might hop on though. I only played a little bit after they reset the ranks, so I don't have ranks in anything except Rumble Pit, and even that is only about a 5 or so.

I played a little last night after everyone else was gone and did ok. I think the problem for me is that I'm level 14 going against level 35+ when I play with everyone else, and that's why I get my butt kicked. When I played last night it was against people from lvl 13-15 and I always had the most kills on my team. We still lost a few, of course, but it seemed more even for me. When we all get together it might be more fun for everyone to play Social, since there's no ranks there. As long as we don't keep doing shotty sniper, since I still suck at that. :p

Edited to add: I finally got my MVP achievement! :woot Team Slayer on Narrows. I had the most kills and my team won. It was awesome. ^_^
