Sooo...anyone still co-oping the campaign or am I gonna hafta wait for Jack and GamingMaiden?
 
No I will still play co-op with you. I need some of the metagame stuff, and I like helping people find the skulls! Plus, co-op is really fun!
 
Awesome, thanks. Got any times from Wednesday night through Sunday night? I have all day from Thursday on.
 
Even better! Then Jack gets it in two weeks and GM gets it at Christmas, and my real friends who like Halo show up, and I'll get my fix of the campaign(along with the skulls and whatnot), and then can settle in to the multiplayer. And all that campaigning might fix my suckage!
 
Yeah, the campaign really helped me with some of my skills. Like I used to hate the Battle Rifle, but Halo 3 made me use it a lot in the campaign and I got used to it, and it's my favorite weapon now. ^_^ I also have gotten better with sticky grenades and snipers with help from the campaign.
 
Ugh, sniping. Dual analog. I'll pretty much always suck with that. Grenades, I need serious help with.
 
Getting stickies up close isn't that hard. I've even stuck Hunters up close. What I still need to learn is how to judge distances and sticky grenade enemies from longer distances.
 
My one friend who has Halo 2 is such a pansy in it. I was playing it for my first time and all of a sudden a Hunter shows up and he's like, "Holy crap, get away from that!" And I was like, "No way, I'm gonna take it down." I ended up taking it down without being hit(losing all my ammo, though...) and continued to ridicule him for the rest of the game. I like to think that's pretty good for my first time. I just realized I never used grenades during that game except to blindly whip around corners and stuff.
 
Yeah, regular grenades can work really well in a lot of situations, too. Generally if you throw one into a group of Grunts they will try to jump out of the way, but you can still kill a few and weaken the rest.
 
Yeah, just for clearing them out a bit, too. Coming too close, whip a grenade down out of your personal space and they'll back off 'til it explodes.
 
One time my friend and I were playing and the game glitched; it wouldn't open a certain door so that we could go through the rest of the level (this happened on the Storm). So I had to throw a plasma grenade at the floor to kill both of us and start over from the last checkpoint. :lol
 
:lol This is what makes Halo popular. Slightly above average game, amazing memories.

Gah... I hate retarded people... I lost two levels today in Team Slayer because I had mentally retarded 2 year olds on my team. I mean, when you can only get 2 fricken kills in an entire game, how the f are you a level 20????
