Might = understatement too.

My justification is that every game on pc looks better than every game on console. Hardware differences sure...

My consoles look better than my laptop for some add reason....but Halo looks better on my laptop than the Xbox version.... :-\

Computer screens are higher res, and can have more stuff going on without pixel blur like on a tv

Halo + Halo 2 look miles ahead better on pc than console because the xbox had horrible hardware on the inside.

Eh, I like GOOD games on consoles. They are few and far between these days. They don't really warrant a purchase yet, at least for next gen.

When it comes to new games I turn to graphics and realism. Pc wins. It's pretty simple.

When Halo 3 does come out on pc it will look better than on consoles just as it's predecessors do.

To call me a pc fanboy just puts you in the category of people who don't justify what they say.

When I choose between next gen games I turn to pc yes, because graphics are better, load times (yes those too) are better, For me it is a smarter thing to do.

I can watch hd movies on my screen in HD...I can play games in higher res than a console...Yeh, I guess if the fact that I choose PC because it's a generally smarter thing for me to do makes me a fanboy, I guess I am. I just don't see the point in having a system like a ps3 for 500-600, having shoddy graphics on some 480i tv, crap load times on a console in general (maybe it's because my computer doesn't suck I don't know)

When it really comes right down to it, I was a console fanboy up until I got a job that meant I could afford to build a computer I wanted to build. Then I realized that computers are just again, SMARTER for me.

ME.

I won't sit here and insult you because that would mean I'm just acting like a little kid. I just try and justify what I say.

Well you're justifying a stance as a PC fanboy...I mean you don't have to call yourself one...and it's not necessarily a bad thing...but you're coming off as one. To try and justify yourself by saying PC's are better because of graphics and load times is just ridiculous. Games are about the game play.

I too, now have a computer that can run almost any game...but I prefer my consoles..because consoles are for games...computers are for a wide range of things.

I guess in that sense you justify yourself as a console fanboy? Or whatever that makes you. I don't really know. I don't do this whole 10 year old classification bullshit. Not to make this personal but you really just kind of make yourself look foolish because even when I state my opinion and the fact that it is my opinion, you still get anal about it. It's really childish. No offense.

You could say "that's your opinion"

I know pc gamers that can rival what you say when you say "Games are about game play" and in short that "Games" are on consoles -.-

I'm one of them.

Ah, so you're pretty much calling nearly everyone on this board a 10 year old. Pretty classy. Talk about being childish though...you always claim your opinion to be right...I've had enough of child's play though. The PC vs Console thread is in another part of the forum. :)

Let's try to stay on topic now, shall we?

I wonder if the story will be left open at all for a sequel...or well..spin-off or whatever.

I guess so. I never claimed my opinion to be right. I always state facts and you still get all irritated. Facts and things that are my opinions. You still get anal. I don't understand it.

P.s. we all know halo 3 isn't about the story. No one really gives a darn about it anymore except for the fact that they want it to be over so they can go on with the multiplayer

I mean...I even get along with hines now...I think.

Please...anyone on here knows I don't take anything personal/get anal/get angry :lol...it's arguments over the internet...it's sad really. So if it came off like that, sorry. Really, arguing over the internet gets you nowhere.

About the story..I'm interested. I know a number of other people that are wondering what's going on with the story as well.

Storywise. I want to finish it. I really have no interest. It would be awesome if MC died.

I liked halo a lot. I thought halo 2 was garbage. I liked multi on live for awhile.

Then I realized that was kind of garbage to me as well. I just think it would be better if he died. Not heroically. But realistically.

Then it wouldn't be so freaking cliche.

As someone who owns all 4 Halo books and the graphic novel, I can tell you I actually care about the story. And I know there are others like me (I know Mai reads the books).

I have read them all at least twice. I just finished The Fall of Reach about 2 weeks ago and I am almost done with The Flood again.
