Looks almost worth it. I may just cave in to buy a Playstation Move solely for this. And Heavy Rain.

Closed beta. My friend was kind enough to give me his code since he doesn't have a PS3. The beta is INCREDIBLE. Only one level, 4 necromorph types, and 4 weapons to choose from. As well as unlockables (one being a necromorph type and another being a weapon on the engineers' side).

I want to play Dead Space 1 some time..

I could only choose one type of necromorph, the small baby one.

The beta is meh.

This multiplayer is just as unnecessary as every other multiplayer tacked onto otherwise single player games (IE GTA IV and Uncharted 2)

Idk what kind of beta you got in to...but you start with 3 types of necromorph..everyone does...

And the multiplayer may have nothing to do with the story, but it's amazing. Just like GTA IV's and Uncharted 2's.

I personally wouldn't call GTA IVs multiplayer amazing, but it was definitely fun. And I've heard nothing but good things about Uncharted 2s multiplayer. I have to check it out for myself to see how good it is.

Well, for me...GTA IV's multiplayer was the only good part of that game. But that's just cause I hated the game.

I absolutely love how you're not safe on elevators anymore. That makes me so excited like you wouldn't believe. That was perhaps one of the few things I hoped they would do something with and they did. So very happy. And scared.

I hope the dementia becomes a good part of the fear factor in this game and adds in greatly to the psychological horror aspect of this game.

You get attacked in elevators in Dead Space 1 at least once. And while it wasn't broken, I feel that the enemies and environment are too similar to the original. I'm not seeing anything making me go "wow".

Heads up, if you have a GAME SAVE FILE from Dead Space 1. You can unlock a special weapon for Dead Space 2!

Wait, the environment felt the same? Did you play the first one? :p

The Church of Unitology was so different and awesome. I spent a good amount of time checking out the art work. Looks like some crazy varied environments in the new installment. Can't wait to check out the space combat too.
