I haven't watched the newest trailer yet, but I'm going to be honest and say that I'm looking forward to this simply because it's Halo. :D

New trailer looks good, I'm pumped for this. Hopefully it lives up to the high standards the series has.

I'll wait until launch to make a decision. The Halo series has been on a huge decline for me since Halo 2. Loved Halo 2...Halo 3...meh...Halo ODST...way too short...firefight is fun for only so long.

The guys at Giantbomb are speculating on the main character being Master Chief...since he was on Reach, and how everyone has a different helmet, but he has the Master Chief helmet...and how he doesn't talk...hmmm.

That would be cool. I wonder if other Spartans in the Fall of Reach book will make it into the game.

The main character won't be Master Chief if the main character is the one from the video, seeing as the rank of this Spartan is a Lieutenant.

I would love to see Linda in the game. She is my favorite from the books.

That's what they were trying to figure out. They didn't know what Master Chief's rank during this game was.

Yeah, he has been a Master Chief Petty Officer for a while, and never gets promoted over the course of the games. Halo 1 through 3 only covers a period of a few months, from October 2552 to March 2553 (or something close to that).

I wonder if I'll get a letter from Game Informer asking me to send it back so they can edit that section out. :p

What's even more hilarious is that it's the cover story, and there's a good 6-8 pages of coverage and pictures.
