The shotgun wasn't overpowered unless you were host. In GOW2 it is like shooting marshmellows at your opponent, not only did they water it down it has a slower fire rate. Any hardcore player from original gears, hates the sequel. It's a terrible online game.

In my earlier post I said that ASIDE from the campaign the game was horrible. That Single Player gets a 9.5/10 in my book but I bought GOW2 because I thought it was going to be a beast of an online game like GOW1. Sadly mistaken I was.
 
I LOVED Gears co-op story. I HATED the multiplayer side of it. So far I'm LOVING Gears 2 co-op story. Have no idea how I'll feel about the multiplayer, but I think I might like the hordes.
 
I just finished Hardcore mode and all I'm going to say, is this is by far one of the better videogame sequels I've seen in some time. Like Resident Evil to Resident Evil 2. This game delivers everything the fans demanded and then some. The ending was very very pleasing this time around and it's definitely a must have for any 360 fan or previous GoW fan who was upset over the first being too short or left you hanging. This time, the battles are longer and more intense. Plus a nice cozy ending to make you sleep better at night :)

Also remember this....When you think it's over, think again...

Me and Jaded Deceit just beat it today. ^_^ I loved the game. There were so many crazy moments in it. We only beat it on normal, though, so I'll probably be playing it again to beat it on harder difficulties. Internet's currently down though so no multi for me until it's fixed. :(

Btw Mai, Insane mode is BRUTAL. It's just like classic Gears of War...if you are down..that is IT.
 
That scene with Maria and Dom is so sad. It kinda just...haunts me. I almost cried.... I did want to, however, when Carmine died! I loved that dumb rookie....>.<
