November 7th is the release date as of right now but who knows and that will probably change in the future.

There will be NO 4-Player Co-Op.  Just the Horde mode, which is 5 players.


Based on what we played, Horde mode is a slick new addition to the Gears experience. The five-player support is sweet, although we do still wish for some two-plus-player co-op.

That sounds so awesome for real. Iam really wanting to try out Horde mode now and if it really does have 50 levels that is going to be insane. That is going to be the best multiplayer mode probably just so you can get straight to some hard bloody combat real fast.

Aww, that sucks. Oh well, I guess we'll just have to live with 2 player co-op.

OMG! I saw that at Comic Con (and took a picture, even). It's really sweet up close. I would definitely get GoW2 from Amazon to get a replica lancer. Seriously, it's cool.
