September 19, 2007 - Ubisoft on Wednesday revealed exclusively to IGN that it has picked up the rights to publish the anticipated Wii action game No More Heroes in North America. The title will release stateside next February, just two months after the Japanese ship date.

No More Heroes is developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and directed by Suda 51, who also helmed the critically acclaimed GameCube adventure title Killer 7. The brutal endeavor pits players as Travis Touchdown, a hardcore anime fan living in the fictional town of Santa Destroy, who takes it upon himself to murder the world's top assassins so that he can be number one. To accomplish this task, Touchdown must battle 10 "bloodthirsty killers -- all with deep stories of their own," according to Ubisoft.

I've been watching this game since it was announced, and I'm happy that it will actually come over here. Killer 7 was a cool game and this one looks even more interesting.

I would. Though all my money is going for Brawl.

On the plus side, Suda's already working on a sequel.

strubes you're making the right decition :lol. the japanese love that game even though it was toned down over there (blood looks different on the japanese version) and hines investigate a more about it and i'm sure it will look that great to you XD. i was worried that the release date of brawl would ruin my chances of getting this game.. however with the delay i will get it as soon as it comes out XD

I'm not really looking foward to brawl so thats not going to affect me getting it at all (just not much of a fighter game fan)

I like the fact that the hero is a geek. The whole reason he starts doing what he's doing in the game is because he didnt have any money to rent a movie or game. lol.

Wal-Mart only had three copies! I can't tell you hard it was to resist. And now that I see how well it's getting reviewed, I feel like I should have gotten it. :lol

Well, there's always tomorrow. ^_^

None of you have it yet? How am I supposed to know if its good? Take one for the team... and I'll take on later with Brawl. :P
Just kidding... I'm kinda broke right now, but its on the top of my games to get list right now.

Ok well I took the plunge and bought it.

I'm not sure when I will get a chance to play it, though. But when I do, I'll post impressions.

To describe how cool it is, it surpassed Brawl as the most visited game on GameFAQs, and that's bigger than you think.

But Brawl isn't out yet, so it's not really a fair comparison yet. When we actually get Brawl, it's GameFAQ's page will dominate.

And for it to be number one already means it's not dominating?
