I got my wireless router for $70-79.... it is a linksys... very nice and supports a/b/g wireless... I have a wireless laptop and a psp so that comes in handy.....
See... I have a laptop and desktop.... my desktop is wired into the main router... while I have a wireless router extension for the laptop and wireless devices. I am going to get a wireless extension for the Gamecube (to play PSO 1/2 plus without having to plug into the routers... I can then play it wirelessly), but I don't have the extra $100 to spend right now. It would make playing Phantasy Star Online 1/2 a lot easier.
I have a 3 layer router security right now... and it runs SMOOTHLY over everything... except I still cannot do starcraft real well

Ever since I got off of Win 98.... and on XP Pro, starcraft just doesn't work well online OR via network. It is one of the VERY FEW games that give me trouble. Warcraft 2 bnet edition does give me problems as well.... which sucks because they are both fun to play. I've even gone direct and bypassed the routers and I still have troubles with starcraft. I am going to try the Win 98 emulation modes though and see if that will clear the problem up..... as I still have my old laptop with 98, and starcraft works fine.... even through the routers (so it has to be OS problems). Battle.net stated it was an issue with the updated winsock in XP / XP Pro.... but some people don't have problems... so I don't know..... sorry for the long tangent :lol
