Neo Geo CD Neo Geo CD load times... do they really bother you?

so... this actually makes things load a little faster?

Is there much missing when you do this?

Just intro screens, pre-fight poses, etc. When you select your character, the fight loads immediately. When the fight is over, it loads the next fight immediately. So on.

I wonder where we can put this so that more people can see your information.

Maybe I'll make a new "news" bit on the site for 1-11-05. I mean... I never knew about this.

Not all the games have it, just the newer games with the worst loading time.
 
Loading time is just hype..

If you dont listen to it, it wont matter to you. When I got back into the Neo after some time, I specifically wanted a CD system because of the advantages of cost, sound, etc. Then the hype set in about loading times and I became dissatisfied with the format.

After some time away again, I can clearly see that the hype about loading times steered me away from a great system and games.

Dont believe the hype.

personally, I have never had a problem with the load times.

I love kof 97 / 99 for the Neo CD.. regardless of the loads. I just play the games and enjoy them :) KOF 99 IMO is one of my favorite Neo CD games... very nice!

others will disagree with me though.
