Metroid Prime 3 discussion.

Re: 1up.com's preview of Metroid Prime 3 has mixed feelings

Oh, by all means I agree. This is only one review out of hundreds of thousands more.

And somehow, every other one says the controls are godly.

Re: 1up.com's preview of Metroid Prime 3 has mixed feelings

Apparently not everyone feels the same way. I mean, we're not going to know until we play the game. I'm not quite sure what's so hard to understand about that.

I'm having second thoughts about getting this, not because of this, but because of how long BWii would last me. Wi-Fi and RTS cartoon war, win. But Prime is awesome. I can always rent Prime anytime I gelt an urge to play it...

BWii?

Re: 1up.com's preview of Metroid Prime 3 has mixed feelings

BWii will be lame, like the first one

dont worry about online play, see games for what they are, not what they aren't.

EDIT - @strubes, batallion wars 2

Re: 1up.com's preview of Metroid Prime 3 has mixed feelings

Battalion Wars 2. BWii. The first one kicked ass, I don't know why you didn't like it. It's cartoony RTS war. And this is vastly improved. Multiplayer, micromanaging, all totally better. Plus, October 29th.

Re: Nintendo Borrowing from Microsoft for Metroid Prime 3

I don't think so either. It would be a very nice addition though if they did.

I played a little bit of the full game today. OMG! It rocks. It only took a few minutes to get used to the controls. Man it feels really immersive. Changing to the scan visor is a little cumbersome but it will get easier with practice, and that's the only issue I had with the controls from what I played (about 30 minutes worth).

Totally psyched for it!

I heard the only draw back is on expert mode. The sensitivity's at its highest...and you can't change it. :-\

no, expert mode is a control setting, you can change it to beginner, advanced and expert

i dont think their are difficulty levels in the game, those are control settings

No, there are difficulty settings. When I started up I had to choose between normal and something else (can't remember what it's called).

The beginner/advance/expert setting is something different that has to do with aiming.
