they look good, at least the game is not perfect, but there is no perfect game anyway :lol
 
and again epileptic gaming keep bashing the wii, the only reason i watch that show is for the things they say about the ps3 but it piss me off that they don't give metroid a chance
 
im stuck

i just beat the second boss (ice dude that gives u ice missiles) and i went forward through the rooms as it said to disable the whatever it was. the aurora told me i need a new weapon

ok...

...where do i go? back to my ship?

I think it's funny and worth discussing, if only for how contradictory it is. :lol

I mean, look at the first paragraph.

The Nintendo Wii has made a name for itself by appealing to casual videogame players, but "Metroid Prime 3: Corruption" is the system's first decent title that isn't really for them. Gamers who have complained that the Wii is just for Grandma to go virtual bowling will finally find the kind of tightly constructed, flashy sci-fi adventure they love. That should generate some good will, but it will hardly draw the hardcore away from Sony and Microsoft. Ultimately, gamers looking for a well paced, thrill-a-minute shooter with a compelling narrative are going to be disappointed. "Halo" this ain't.

Now look at almost everything else.

Too much of the time, though, "Metroid Prime 3" is more tedious than epic. This is particularly true of the boss battles, which are exhaustive affairs requiring dedication, patience, and most importantly, a familiarity with the vocabulary of videogames: double jumping, circle strafing, shooting weak points for massive damage, etc. Those who previously used the Wii only for party games will need a 13 year-old boy to explain it all.

He complains about having to have patience and familiarity with double jumping, circle strafing, and shooting weak points. In other words, his article should have been written more like this:

You know how the Wii is for grandmas and Sony and Microsoft make better games for hardcore gamers? Here's a hardcore game for the Wii but it's not hardcore enough, but it's too hard for me to play it. Apparently it's from a series that's been going on for years and years and it stays true to the series but I wouldn't know. Anyway, the game sucks because I don't know how to play it. It's not as hardcore as Halo but it forces you to double-jump and strafe during boss fights, which confuses me. I don't know what to do in it. I don't understand how to play the game but I know it's not as good as Halo, because Halo makes you shoot more, although shooting is hard for me to do in games. The Wii is for grandmas and casual gamers and this game won't help change that but I have no idea how to play it because it's too hard for me. Halo rules.

This is madness! They say Double jumping and straifing is a bad thing. Well, you dumb turd, go out in a battlefeild in real life and see how long you last without straifing or double-jumping around your enimies. >:(

People jump to evade fire in Halo, as well. Bunny-hopping, if I recall correctly. Although sometimes it's frowned upon, I think it's a legitimate strategy. Especially playing rockets or grenades.

I'm sorry, but did you just say I'm flaming this one? I didn't even state anything about the article at all. Just at variety. Plus it was just a sarcastic, rhetorical question. I don't see how my comment even remotely constituted flaming the article.
