I just got it for Christmas. I haven't played much of, it I'm really liking the control scheme. Looks like it's gonna shape up to be one hell of a game. :)

I got the fishing pole. Man, fishing is kind of hard. I've only caught one fish so far.

I'm trying to get more ship parts, too. What's the max ship stamina, anyway? Mine is at five right now, but not all of my pieces match.

Eight, with all the Golden Parts. As for fishing, keep your stylus at the bottom of the screen, pulling the line, then reel it in when you feel safe.

Well I beat it, but I didn't 100% it, so I'll play it again. I still want to get all the ship parts.

I have three Gold Parts already. Beedle's shop and 40% discounts are nice.

There's a lot of stuff I didn't get to in PH.

-I didn't get all of the heart containers.
-I didn't get all of the Spirit Gems
-I didn't break 2500 in that game on Bannan Island
-I didn't even get any of the Maze Island stuff
-I didn't get Neptoona

So there's still a ton for me to do when I replay it. :D

I have two Jacksons in my wallet right this minute. Should I spend it on this game? My son loves playing the demo at Wally World and Target, and I am thinking he'll want to play my DS (Which, by the way, is the old school blue chunky one that is in flawless condition), and likely break it.

Well there's a lot of intense stylus action in Phantom Hourglass, but mine doesn't have a screen protector and it still didn't get scratched, so I really don't think you have that much to worry about as far as that goes.

But as for buying it, yes! You totally should. It's such an awesome game. Probably one of the best reasons, if not the best reason, to have a DS.

Yeah, my screen is ok. Several times when I had to rub the screen, I pressed too hard and saw some funky colors on the edge of the screen.

I'm not surprised. Phantom Hourglass is an awesome game. I loved every moment of it.
