Is Halo The Most Awsome Game Ever?

You like CoD4?  More power to you...  The only CoD that I've even thought was half decent was 2.  I don't prefer that style of FPS.

Yeah, that's the same thing with me, with Halo. I really don't like the run 'n gun type shooter. I prefer something like Half-Life, with more puzzles breaking up the action, or something like Call of Duty that requires you to use some tactics.
 
CoD4 is the only shooter where you don't feel like the hero. It makes you feel like you're helpless which such a breathe of fresh air from the same old FPS. Plus Headquarters is such a good multiplayer game type

Play Halo 3 on Legendary, it pretty much forces you to play it like a tactical shooter.
 
Yeah... Try Halo 3 on Legendary, with even just Famine (weapons have less ammo), Mythic (enemys have double health), Thunderstorm (all enemies are their highest rank), and Tilt (resistance turns into immunity).  And if you're feeling extra special turn on Iron, which if you're playing by yourself makes you start the mission from the beginning when you die, and if you're playing co-op if one person dies you restart at the last checkpoint.

After playing it like that you can't tell me that Halo is just 'a run-and-gun shooter.'

Im getting a serious halo craving. I havent played it in like 6 months.
 
Im getting a craving for ANY halo, as long as its not the first one.
 
If I did want to play any of the 3(which honestly I dont lol) I would have to go with 2. halo 3 wasnt as great as people made it sound.
 
I was upset with Halo 3 they seem to broke the engine, I mean come one you get meleed and got 20feeet in the air what the heck is everyone superman? and there lag issues are annoying,but you know Bungie hey lets make some new maps, instead of fixing our server's. Not smart Well I got rid of the halo3 for c.o.d and it well worth it not only was I able to play thru the single player campagin ( which unlike halo after the 3rd level felt like it was on a repeat cycle) but the multi in c.o.d is flawless from creating a class to trying to get all the stuff in the barracks it's non stop fun.
