I never know what to do ahhh

Yeah, I am not sure what to do.

I can either save my money and jump into the next gen soon or buy old systems and games for my systems I have now. What would you do if you were me?

I would get an older console, for cheap, and then get into the next gen when the price of the consoles starts to go down some more.

Buy a 360. Elite only. Never hear of any trouble with those.
Now that the new chip set is being put into 360's, there are very few problems with the consoles breaking down.

I'd go with the latter. Lots of older games are getting harder to find and the price just goes up the older they get. Even Cube games are starting to rise in price, not to mention PSX and older stuff. So if I were you I'd get all of the older games you have wanted before they get hard to find. You still have a long time before you will have problems finding the current games.

Well, right now I am working on getting more games for my older systems..I mean the newer systems and games are going to get cheaper the longer you wait...so you might as well get a ton of old games that are really cool, instead of one new game for that same price.

I personally do not have any of the current generation systems yet, unless you count my DS lite.

Yeah I only have ds and psp for now. I am def going to go for older stuff for a few months maybe another year.

Forgive me man,but you sound like a drug dealer. :lol :lol :lol

I could have had a next generation system right now. But I chose to go with the retro stuff. Right before Christmas I bought a Neo Geo CD. I always wanted one. And now I have been buying the games. I have also been picking up games for my other retro systems. Just today I purchased "Test Drive Le Mans" for my Dreamcast. (Won it on ebay for .99 cents. Factory sealed) There are just a lot of games that for one reason or another I was not able to get when the systems were new. In the last six months I have purchased games for the Neo Geo CD, Gameboy Color, Swan Crystal, Dreamcast, Turbo Grafx 16, Sega Genesis, and N64. And also games for the Game Cube and PS2, but I would not exactly call that retro just yet.
I too would consider the only thing that I have, that is next gen, would be my DS.

It all depends where you want to go right now. (As some have already said, the old stuff will get harder to find and more expensive to buy.) Do you want to go back and catch some of that gaming goodness that you missed? Or do you want to get on board and enjoy what is happening right now?
