how are PSP owners able to afford it?

Well thats why the console gods in the sky invented ONLINE play, to give a game more replay value just look at counter strike. Anyway back the the memory sticks, I just bought a 1 gig stick for 100 at outpost, imo 150 for them is just a rip off especially whn they retail for 135. I will def get a ton of use out of it prolly more than most ppl as it will be filled with mp3's and movies/videos etc Some home brew and whatnot. The 2 gig ones are OUT right now but too expensive for my likes 335 or around there on amazone.com the price will come down though and 4 gig sticks are in the works. I'm sure after a little time and much mass producing these sticks will become more affordable for the regular people. But I will be good for now and I'll do what I want to get the most use out of my psp.

I don't understand how they can get away with accessories that are more expensive than the system itself. $300+ for a 2 gig stick? I'm sorry, but that's a lot of money that could be used for more worthwhile things.

As a consumer, I think it's a waste of money for the PSP. I guess I am more of a console guy anyway. Maybe I'll wait a few years, and buy it at $50 or so when it becomes obsolete!!

I hardly ever bother playing games in multiplayer. Counter-Strike quickly got renamed to Camper Strike, and that says it all. Resident Evil Online had a great idea, but the people I meet online hardly ever work together. Even Neverwinter Nights can be fun online if we play in a party, but we still end up searching through the loot to get all the good stuff before anyone else. The result is a fighter can walk around with a very powerful rod or magical scroll in his inventory he can't sell, and the wizard in the party who can use it, don't get to since the fighter can get paid more. This particullar annoying if you change "figher" to "paladin". The paladin are supposed to care about helping people, and not so much about money. Or try a Capture the Flag in any game. It usually end up with no one protecting the base, and everyone trying to be a hero and get the flag. It's so boring.
