Help me!!! I wanna play my game!!

Just picked up Assasins Creed game today that we have been waiting for and we do not have enough space to play the game :( We moved tons of stuff to a usb stick and deleted lots but still no room (prolly cuz of all our rockband songs) We have an eighty gig ps3. Can I buy any internal sata laptop hard drive and use it? Is there limits to how big it can handle? Is there something I can buy quick today?????? Help!!!!!!!!
 
guess i will head to walmart and try buying a portable external drive to copy everything to and then to computer place to buy an internal larger drive to put it on. I wonder if a 300 gb one will work
 
I have no clue what I am doing and I want to keep all my downloaded rockband songs and I want assasins creed to work. I wish someone was on here who can help me

If the songs are tied to your account, then you can always redownload them if you delete them. Just go to your purchase history and select download.

But to answer your original question, yes, you can swap out the Hard Drive for a bigger one. The exact instructions are in the manual. :)
 
thankyou. i was hopinmg u would respond cuz i was sure u would know. i even told my husband, "look he is logged in but i don't know if he is actually on this site er just logged in" but was happy when u responded on facebook. don't wanna screw up my files er anythingso wanted to be sure i knew wjat i was doing and spejding money on

Sometimes the multiple tabs keep me logged in but since I'm at work I constantly switch between them. So I got to the FB post first.
 
Megadrive and Bluevoodu have both successfully swapped PS3 hard drives for larger, faster models. If I recall, the Western Digital Scorpio Black drives are laptop-sized and 7,200 rpm, so are both the appropriate size a speed upgrade to the stock ps3 drives.
