Hey I actually think Halo 1 and 2 were average. The only reason I think this will be good is because it will be made by a company who has made great RTS's before. 8)
halo is the best game of all time.

Strubes said:Well it says nothing of the Spartans so I'm assuming no spartans will be in this game. Spartans were super warriors. If you had an army of them, there would be no sense in playing the game.

HAHA!!!! Best game of all time!! That's a great joke. Oh wait, your serious????The Animal said:halo is the best game of all time.
Well hunters are pretty hard to kill. Also, keep in mind that the Master Chief is probably one of the strongest SPARTANS out there. I don't think many SPARTANS will be able to blow up a ring world, almost single handedly defend a space station, and stop another ring world from going off (while killing hundreds of covenant). Most could probably be taken down by a couple hunters or Honor Guard (I think they have been around for a while in the Halo universe even though they were not in the first game). 8)SpartanEvolved said:Odds are though, the Covenant will have a unit as powerful as the Spartans (most likely specially trained elites). So Spartan's wouldn't be game breakingly strong.

It wouldn't make sense for there to be brutes because the brutes joined the covenant AFTER the first Halo which was set before Halo Wars. 8)mEtAl dR.mArIo said:Wait I wonder if there is goin to be brutes.

Hmm, my imagination has already gone out of control with this.
"Covenant forces are approaching your base from three sides. Your installation, (On Reach) must be defended at all costs. A Spartan unit is on the way, but you have reason to beleive that their craft was shot down, thus leaving them on foot. The enemy numbers are great, almost a thousand. And you have barely over a hundred, Your defences are low, your morale is low, your resources are low. You have two choices. Try to flee along the only route the covenant arn't approaching from, even though they'll eventually catch up and hunt you down anyway. Or you hold your ground and show no mercy for the miserable sods.
Your the commander....... it's your choice."
Well thats a load off the 'ol brain.![]()

Strubes said:That sounds pretty sweet. So you can make choices in the game? If you can, does that affect the ending? Hmm, sounds interesting. Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but that would be sweet.
