Well it looks like they did it again, with hit like Miss murder by afi, when you where young by killers, barracuda by pat bentar. the game simple owns not to mention the wireless control is great and fits like a glove, but the lay out being able to play campaign in co-op rocks. how ever be warned some songs can only be unlocked by playing co-op overall it has a great sound track and should hold you over untill rock band. A 4 out of 5
 
Actually Baracuda is by Heart. XD!

But anyway, yeah it's awesome. I love the career co-op. And the guitar is really nice, too.
 
haha I was just gonna say that Barrracuda was by Heart but then I saw Mai beat me to it.

The game looks sweet, Im getting it for PS2 tomorrow. My friend got it for the Wii tonight. Im gonna go try it out
 
The wireless guitar for the 360 is actually pretty nice. I still love my Explorer though. can't wait to get this game!
 
They have Miss Murder by AFI?!!? :o :lol

I have to get this game so bad. Maybe around March I'll get the chance to get it. (B-day)
 
I finished Medium mode around 140am lol I kicked the devil's butt...now Im ready for more....

We still have our bundles in the back room. Nope. No one got them out on Sunday to sell them. That would have made too much snese. Then by the time I got there yesterday my bin was blocked and I COULDN'T get them out to sell them, and then I had to go home sick before they cleared the back room. GAH.
 
I think Guitar Hero II is better. Maybe not gameplay mechanics-wise, but the song list is WAY better, IMO. In GHII there was maybe one song out of every five that I didn't like. For GHIII it's the opposite. Out of every five songs there's only one I like. :-\ It makes it really hard to play because I don't enjoy the song enough to care.

I hope they add more songs soon.
 
Personally, I think I'm actually more excited for Rock Band. Better song selection IMO, including Coheed and Cambria's "Welcome Home."
 
IMO, the Guitar Hero games are fun but rely on one gimmick to be fun. My sister bought GH3, so I might play it, but these games have absolutely no depth and haven't done anything different since the first game.
 
They absolutely have depth, but you're right about not doing anything different since the beginning. But then again, neither have Zelda or Halo.
 
Zelda and Halo have both done new things. Guitar Hero 1, 2, and 3 are only different in the songs offered (and GH3 has a mediocre "boss" battle mode and online play).

To be fair, adding online mode was a pretty significant addition, but really, what is there to add? It's like with Madden. It's the same thing every year because there really isn't much to improve upon. I'm not saying this justifies paying $60 for the same game with a new track list, but can you really think of anything major that should be added to it?
