Does GT 64 have ANY relation to Gran Turismo on the Playstation?

I am curious on that.....

No, but I did play GT Advance 3 and found it to be pretty good. Maybe I will check out GT 64 and see if it plays similar.

It probably doesn't have any relation to Gran Turismo, though.

well... GT64 was done at the beginning of the gran turismo series.... in fact, I think it came out before..

I was looking at some screen shots and it definitley does look like Gran Turismo. I doubt it has any connection though. I think gt started with ps originally. I would see why they would start on Nintendo and switch.

:lol well I know that Sega GT has no relation :)

the reason I thought it did is because I remember (back in the day) hearing people state that the Gran Turismo series came from that.
Whether its true or not... I was trying to find out... to either prove or kill the rumor.
