well let us know what its like asap

The game is amazing. When you think about it, the game is repetitive, but you don't feel it. It's a rare thing. The game is a little hard to control at first but once you get the hang of it, it kicks lots of butt.

I have to wait until nxt monday to play this. Must say im looking forward to it! Isnt it suppose to be the best game ever made? Hopefully with all this hype it wont be a let down.

SPOILER ALERT!...kinda

The trick to killing Raam. Make sure you have the crossbow that has exploding ammo equipped and the sniper rifle. When the battle begins, tell Dom to cease fire so he won't run up and get himself killed. Take cover behind the first part of rubble. When you get a clear shot, aim at him with the crossbow and fire. When the arrow explodes, the nemacysts surrounding RAAM will fly off. This is your chance to pull out your sniper rifle and sneak in a head shot or two. Just make sure you stay in the light so the nemacysts don't make you a quick dinner. If you keep repeating this tactic, you'll get a very rewarding ending. :)

Hope that helped.

Thanks.  The thing that pisses me off the most about this game is that they made the A Button the same for run as for evade and for taking cover.  When you want to run and start, if there is a wall or anything by you the idiot takes cover instead of running.  That was a boneheaded developer move that kinda ruins the game.

To me, COD3 is a much better game because of that and the controller issues.

alright... explain to me in plain english exactly WHY this game is so good. I have yet to play it... and I am curious.

Actually, this is the first time I'm hearing of Gears of War control issues. I guess it's jus a lil harder for you to get used to than the rest. Hmm, I don't want another WWII game. Maybe when it's cheaper, I'll try COD3.

BV. This game takes innovation, graphics, and gameplay to the next level and puts a major foothold on 360 team-oriented game play. Basically, everything I thought that made a good game was put into this.

Nobody I know has said anything about the controls. They are fine and perfect.

This game has, like Strubes said, innovation, graphics, and gameplay. Those 3 things rolled into one game make it great. BTW, it got a 10/10 from OXM.

Oh yeah, the story is the only weak part, but even then its not bad. The only part of it that is bad, is the lack of much backstory given in game. But, the voice acting is great.

Obviously it is not that hard for me if I am at the last level.  It is just a little quirk that I would have made a change on.  I love the game except for that.

Also, I just beat him. The bow worked best! Thanks!

Sorry, didn't mean to sound so criticizing. I'm glad the advice helped! ;D

No. The larger enemies are unchainsawable. Like those huge ones that usually have rockets, can't chainsaw them either. You can stick them with grenades though.
